I believe that porl Thompson was responsible for making this song more funky and guitar driven. I like both versions now but to me this is the superior version.
@@LenOnTheDoor0000 depends what era. He was playing all guitar in the early days, later on more rhythm with some lead parts. He’s not playing the rhythm I’m referring to here, which is the crunchy chords.
I love it way better than album version

Without the rhythm guitar, sounds like if Wendy Time had been written for 17 Seconds 👍
I’m not familiar with lingo or roles but rhythm guitar was Robert’s role, right?

@@pendchode let’s just stick with this era for now. I’m assuming in the finished version of Wendy Time, that was mostly Pearl, yes?
@@LenOnTheDoor0000 yep
@@pendchode what about High? Who was playing what guitar?
Awesome version.
Genial!!!... Simplemente... Autentico sonido de the cure!
Classic version love the way Robert mixes
Un bijou, bien meilleure que la version de l'album. CURE n'est jamais meilleur que dans la simplicité. GALLUP est magique.
Me encanta el sonido es sublime
THANK YOU ! MR ROBERT SMITH !
THE CURE FOR EVER !
I'm gonna name all my children based on the cures songs. e.g. Wendy, Elise, Charlotte
Me too. Ha. And I do want girls.
Pues con el rumor de que Simon Gallup sale de la banda, desde 1985 hasta 2021 en caso de que se confirme.
Fue muy poco ya confirmo que sigue que no
very similar to Same Deep Water As You from Disintegration
