We played this at Chicago Vocational High School in 1974. It was powerful.
We played this in a Joliet Central concert about 1969 or 1970. This and March of the Steelmen are some of my favorites.
Ron Nelson. In his 90's now (2015), attended this school (JT). Became one of this country's foremost composers for band, orchestra and choral): Rocky Point Holiday, Savannah River Holiday, Aspen Jubilee, etc)
Wow. I was playing in this in '86-87. Boy, were we good!
This is great. I remember when I played this in high school. My favorite part of the song is a 6:18. Such a great piece of music.
