Sometimes, when people use so much stuff to slick down edges it just ends up looking like they tried too hard. You look like you woke up, quickly threw your hair in a bun, and just walked out looking flawless! You have natural beauty. Thanks for the vid!
*Forgot to mention: I chose not to slick my hair down so much because I'm trying to be gentler on my real hair and not put so much product/stress on it. The perimeter of my hair is broken off from manipulating it too much, so I'm trying to be as nice to it as I possibly can! My hair is not flat ironed, it's just blown out, and I only used a little bit of gel the night before and tied it down overnight so it would lay. So if you're wondering why it's not a PERFECT bun, that's why! Feel free to slick and lay your hair with as much edge control and gel as you like (:
+VICKYLOGAN i feel you, im tryna be on that wild growth hair oil to get thicker edges myself lol but i would recommend a denman brush to slick it up cuz it's gentle at detangling (believe me, i have 4c hair!) and lays hair pretty well with just about no breakage! :)
