Watching Pierre Gigliotti play all those octave bassline flawlessly on that DX-7 is impressive. That material is usually sequenced - very cool to see that played live so competently.
Story for you. Many years later, I sent email to Brian Canham that I had this. I sent him a the original VHS tape and in return he sent me the brand new Brill cd that I live so much! I’m surprised he didn’t had a copy.
@@TommyLeBoeuf: That's a great story. I wish Canham had an original copy, so he could remaster it on a DVD. I remember when I originally saw this show, back on MTV, on, I think, a Saturday night. In those days, MTV had actual _music_ and they'd have live concerts every weekend. This was one of them. My brother had a big stereo system, and it sounded great. I have never stopped thinking of this show. They are incredibly tight. It's even better than I remembered it. Thanks for holding on to this all of these years.

@@TommyLeBoeuf They don't do His Eyes man, They are seem to be at the height of The mid 80's New Wave and Darkwave movement right after Real Life from Aussie I also love Icehouse as far as Aussie Bands and Men At Work only 1rst 2 albums and tours though.
I saw the 2021 version of PE a couple of weeks ago at Crown casino. Apart from some guitar issues Brian was having it was a great night. Brian is a fantastic singer, guitarist, showman.
He needs to ditch those damn expensive costing yet cheaply made guitars! that has happened in more than a few gigs/clips on here. an ibanez jem looks fantastic but they are flimsy... They have had the same connection problems since the 80's they will not stand up to touring it's better to play something less flashy with more solid build quality.
@@DechantMusic exactly he should just go for a charvel strat copy with a Floyd rose if he wants that lead shred tone or just a fender standard strat again just like the early 80s
Man, these guys are so tight. Perfect show. Evidently, this was an original VHS recording from the time. Too bad it wasn't in stereo. This is killer as it is, but stereo would have been more awesome.
Watching this in 2022 & still love Pseudo Echo as much as in the 80's.
Thanks for the memories.
I had this exact concert on VHS, taped from MTV! Thank you for posting this fantastic concert!
This is peak 80's gear: Simmons drum pads, a DX-7, AND a keytar. Honorable mention to the Strat with the Floyd Rose trem.
Agreed, fucking love Simmons drums, no idea why they went away they sound so good man

Such a great show and band.
Sem palavras uma obra prima uma obra de arte Brian o que é isso que voz
My absolute fav band. Then and now.
That wouldn't be a Chasers singlet top that's Pierre's wearing would it! good old Chasers, many happy Thursday nights spent there.
Loved these guys when I was a teenager can't believe all different line up these days.
So shattered but still a favourite

Saw in an interview Pseudo Echo now really is only Brian with fill in musicians when he plays with a band....

80's New Wave
HEY BRIAN..... FIDO DIDO....AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT 😂 I NEVER LIKED THAT BRAND OR SHIRT 😄 MAYBE YOU HADN'T BOUGHT THE YANKEES SHIRT YET
Always loved that tee
What release is the "new song" "Searching For A Glory" on, or is it exclusive to this performance?
Was on the album Race
Who’s the drummer here? Haven’t they had like 3?
Don't remember his name but I know that he was using the Simmons SDSV electronic drums.
in that times, anthony argiro (1983-1985) and vince leigh (1985-1989)
Is it Vince Leigh, James Leigh's(keytar) brother? It looks like it.
