I meet Mr Robertson in new york in the 1980's, he was a true gentleman and a truly truly nice man to talk to, I have his autograph and will cherish it till I meet my maker, I still watch tales of wells Fargo everyday on star TV, R.I.P. MR Robertson may God bless his soul amen.
Always loved Tales of Wells Fargo! He came to Little Rock Arkansas during the State fair which I was allowed to go to. I was just a little girl. I went down to the rail in the coliseum where Mr. Robertson was riding his beautiful horse around and he came over to where I was and shook my hand. His smile lit up the whole place for me! Such beautiful memories he gave me that day!
I 'am 72 & I remember watching Dale Roberson.as a child,.now I watch wells Fargo reruns & I can appreciate his kindness & handsomeness coming thru the screen ! I love ALL the old actors ! Thank God 4 them
I Love everything about Dale Robertson his parts in Wells Fargo special agent Jim Hardy I watch everyday it gives me such joy & peaceful feeling from when l was a kid in LA, California. I wish l could of met him in person. Number one Fan forever😢
I attended one of his camps for boys outside of Marshall Texas, I was one of several young boys that was chosen to attend his camp for 1 free week when I was around 9 years old. I wrote a letter to explain why I wanted to attend this camp. In the letter I told Dale I wanted to attend his camp because my mother, a widow, could not afford to send me to his camp therefore I was 1 of 3 names chosen.
I met dale years ago, i was ,a hostess in ada oklahoma, he had just been to a horse race, came in , dale, was what, yiu saw, was what yiu saw, great actor, great person, i will never forget, tales of wells fargo, rip
Through my friend I met Ira Little, who told me he was Dale Robertson's stockman. Ira was the father of Cleavon Little of "Blazing Saddles" fame. Little followed Robertson to California from Oklahoma. I remember reading about Robertson's childhood affliction and recovery in the magazine that came with the Sunday Denver Post (probably Parade).
I'm 72 now and I grew up watching everything movie / episode that He was ever in. To this very day, I DVR all of his "Tales of Wells Fargo" tv series and watch them everyday. BTW, I just found this site and I am now subbed to your channel. Looking forward to seeing more.
I'm glad I'm not the only one the records all the Wells Fargo shows. It's to the point the o can tell what the next words are that come out of his mouth. What a good and kind man. Don't make many like him anymore.
Always enjoyed his style of delivery of lines, probably the most handsome of men of his time, really enjoyed Tales of Wells Fargo. This is a good video, but it seems you have crammed so much dialogue, with little respect to the photos being shown, very little match up except for his role as Jim Hardy of W Fargo, but it is a fine tribute to a great actor, so I thank you for your work here. His family and fans appreciate this work.
Dale's brother Louis? His brothers were Chet and Roxy. Dale was not an Alcoholic and I have yet to see any evidence of this. When I was with him he drank coffee, water, milk and whisky. Dale died on 26 Feb 2013. However, this is a pretty good video of Dale's life, so thank you.
Sadly a lot of people repeat what really are rumors because they heard it from a friend of a friend. Trusting a friend to have given me correct information I have also done this. Now I say so-and-so said.....
A gentleman all the way! He and Ben Johnson stood firmly in their moral status, 99% of Hollywood could learn from these wonderful men that always respected women and themselves!
You say he never received stardom; but his decency, and respect for women, as well as his military service and philanthropic work is stardom enough, and his legacy gives evidence to that purpose. He was also a Christian, and I bet, unlike so many otherwise great stars, he was not a racially prejudiced man like Jimmy Stewart or Walter Brennen, which in my view, makes them smaller than an ant.
Thank you for your comment and inquiry into this important character query. It has taken me a few years to learn that Walter Brennan, John Wayne and even the humble acting Jimmy Stewart were nothing like the characters they portrayed on the silver screen. To me, and as the Lord has said over and again in the scriptures, unless you love your fellow man, and have compassion for the suffering of others, you will not inherit the kingdom of heaven. Life is too short on this earth, to be running around thinking that you and people who are of the same race as you are, have all the rights and that you can just go into a country which is not yours, march the inhabitants on a Trail of Tears, kill them and take their food supply away, then bring others from another country, using lies and betrayal to enslave them. In stead of these types being ashamed of how they have treated their fellow man, they manifest hate until they leave this world. Their hate, and that of many others still, today, will land them in hell. This makes those type of people smaller than an ant. These actors could have spent time on this earth using their platform for a more purposeful existence for those who were suffering so much in all aspects of their lives. But instead, they were evil, prejudiced and selfish and it was all about them I wonder how big a star they are in hell.@@zolliegraves2271
How can anyone be a Christian who does not put forth the most important of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit., which is love? I know one thing, with all of these crazy things happening all over the world, we had all better be trying to manifest the love of Go.
Ah, he did some of his stunts and those he couldn't do (due to war wounds) were done by stuntmen, mainly Dean Smith. He was awarded with the Stuntman's Hall of Fame.
Dale Robinson. I guess you could say I watched him all my life, as a child and still every day on Wells Fargo and any of the old movies I can find. He was one of a kind. God Bless him
Don’t know if there’s a Yukon Arizona but, if there is it’s not 30 miles from Oklahoma City, however, Yukon, Oklahoma is approx. 17 miles directly west of OKC. Other info in this video is also questionable.
I knew he was a gentleman he was one of the very best actors in my opinion and any man that doesn’t have respect for a woman isn’t a man to me foul language is uncalled for anywhere
Our Lord has has him know... My he grant him peace and may the family know the LOVE OF GOD and each other. May you all grow closer in the LOVE OF GOD>>>
Several of the photos used weren't even of the people spoken about. Might want to do some more research or at least change the photos to fit the narrative.
So another click-bait title promising an interesting tidbit of information when the video is really a 30 minute history of the whole life of the person that I don't care about. So many people use this sleazy trick to get more clicks that I'm beginning to think that RUclips recommends it to get longer views. I rarely click on such titles as this. I only clicked on this one to finally rant about it.
Thanks for visiting The Page Of Wonder Channel! I hope you enjoy the video and like and subscribe for more WONDERful content!
I enjoyed this video i had forgotten about Dale but your video was awesome
JJ Starbuck was NBC, not CBS

Chuck Conners appeared in many of the photo shots with Dale Robertson!
Dale Robertson was a very handsome man. And had a great sounding speaking voice.
Thank you for sharing great story

The date of my birth, July 14, 0:51
He was a quarter horse man too. Raced horses.
Thanks for setting the record straight.
To Dale's family I always enjoy his movies

Wow great man
They erroneously said he did his own stunts. He did his own horse riding, but fight scenes were overtly stunt men.
Ah, he did some of his stunts and those he couldn't do (due to war wounds) were done by stuntmen, mainly Dean Smith. He was awarded with the Stuntman's Hall of Fame.
Some stunts he did, but riding was done by him...he was a great horseman!

Good tale but the show could have been edited by about 5 minutes with no loss to it. Too much redundancy!
Yup! You should report them to "The Dept. Of The Redundancy Dept.! 😜
Two questions where is dale car at today, the driver that killed his mom what were the charges and punishment
Nice guys Really have a HARD TIME IN EVIL HOLLYWOOD.
