I learned DB in college more than 25 years ago but never got back to it until mysql and possibly your normalization form. I wonder if I wasted a lot of money.

A whole semester passed by as the 'experienced' professors of an 'Institute of National Importance' couldn't clear out these concepts and you made it crystal clear in less thsn 30 minutes. I'm grateful to you Sir.

I have a question, why is student_id and subject_id a more meaningful primary key? If you just used score_id as the primary key, wouldn't the problem of partial dependency no longer exist? Because you couldn't have partial dependency when it's just one attribute for the primary key?

I studied about the normalization on many websites but couldn't understand. Your videos are very clear to make me understand the concept. Thanks a lot.

For a table to be in the Second Normal form, it should be in the First Normal form and it should not have Partial Dependency.

I know you get this a lot but I have to say it too: Your explanations are much better than my professor's, I should be paying you instead of him. We need more people like you in college, the skills of making things simple, creating good videos, and being a good speaker are desperately lacking in college. I have a professor who literally tells us to study from youtube videos and doesn't teach anything himself LOL.
