Operation Martlet Game 4

Chain of Commands Pint Sized Campaign: Operation Martlet
In the hours leading up to Operation Epsom, Operation Martlet was launched to deny the Germans the high ground around Ruray and protect Epsoms flank.
This Campaign sees the British 49th Infantry Division square off against the remnants of the 12th SS Hitlerjugend

So an immobile anti tank gun moves onto the board and is allowed to fire at a mobile tank and knock it out, and quite easily i might add, seems kinda stupid if you ask me

The idea behind deployment is that it was there the whole time

The Germans wouldn't have played this game out as their starting position wasn't viable. Maybe the Germans should have brought 1 x Panther on behind the houses and then started dropping smoke rounds from it into the open area before the rest of their vehicles even attempted to move onto the board. Question: - can the Panthers crash through the houses?

They can drive through the houses but run the risk of getting stuck. It was a very rough map but their heavier armor should've given them a bit more of an advantage on open ground. However, as usual the 17pdr got an obnoxious roll

17pdr is a decent gun...yeah he got lucky. Dropping smoke gives u a chance though.@@littlerhodywargaming
