My brother used to work for Ribble as a coach painter. I remember him and a gang of other workers pulling a double decker bus from Blackpool to Preston for charity.
I remember riding on these old but comfortable RIBBLE buses. Based in Aintree & Bootle. But, i never knew make & model they were. From 5'02" to 7'31" (routes 211 & L81 & now not a single one is about or seemed like was saved!!!! not even at bus & tram restoration building not heard of any being there. I wish a few could be found & lovingly restored to what once they were.

I’ve just remembered the numbers it was the L3 and the L52 operating from Skelhorn St in Liverpool city centre.
