- Spent the day at Turquoise Bay Resort in Roatán, Honduras. This was a Norwegian Cruise Line excursion. You have a Bungalow for two or four people over the water of the bay with a butler to bring food and drinks. Highly recommend this excursion if you have the chance.

How far was this resort from where the Breakaway docks? How do you get there? Were food and drinks included other than the champagne and treats?
We bought the package through Norwegian cruise lines as an excursion. It is on the other side of the island and takes about forty five minutes to get there depending on traffic. Included in the cost of the excursion was bus transpostation, a guide/ host from cruise port to bungalow and back and all food and drink Including alcohol. There are only twelve bungalows and they sell out quickly.
Is the water clear right off the bungalow & is it deep?
It was clear the day we were there. When we jump off the platform we could touch the bottom but It was too deep for us to stand there. We had a great time with the floaties that they provided but always swim with caution.
When did you go and how was the water temperature
February and weather was perfect. It was a great shore excursion but we would not make it a vacation. Everything about it was perfect but the bus ride was a little rugged.
See any fish? Snorkling avail at the bungalows?
It was not a great place to snorkel, very few fish. We did not see anyone smuggling, but we did see several people kayaking out to some interesting vegetation.
@@destinationsbydelcastillo2437 if you ever head back down the best snorkeling is out by the mangroves.
