Awesome video, Danny. Was nice meeting you at Plant City that night that you caught Q604 stallin' it. Really enjoyed the camera work on the trains and nice catches of Q187 with UP power and Q604. "Missed it that much" is so right. ;) Faved and liked.

@distantsignal I know what you mean. With gas already over $5 a gallon in Hawaii and Premium at $4:99 in Birmingham, who knows what summer holds. May have to ride my bike to go railfanning. :T

@TheSuperTenor Cool! I've been railfanning in Savannah once about 8 years ago. Shot trains at Central Junction for about two hours. Seemed like a happenin' place. Also stopped at Burroughs for a train, which I guessed was on the S-Line.
    I would surely love it.

I have thought about it but wouldn't know where to begin up there. I know nothing about that territory. I would definitely need a guide.

@howardkevinm Yeah, that's me on the Royal Caribbean videos. I used to be the voice on every ship in the fleet, but they've taken it in-house on the new boats. I think my voice is still on the "Cruise In Review" DVD's.

Many trains get stuck on Lakeland hill. A Miami rock train actually slipped down and almost struck Amtrak 92.

Love your rant about "SE Plant City". Railroads are great about this, that's why we have stations "South Tampa" and "East Tampa" that make absolutely no geographic sense...

Sweet catches Danny! Lakeland has changed a little since then, it became quiet in 2014 (No train horns) and that's really it.
Even though this is older, I'm loving your videos, top quality narration, and film quality. Just out of curiosity, can you watch my new videos? :)
I would love it if you could respond.

The locomotives were probably pass thru power. CSX took the train over from a UP. crew.

actually it was becuase the csx units that were on the train had engine problems so they had to use up.
