damn boys I feel this. I remember the first time I played in the summer of 2012 on Xbox 360. I remember thinking the game had terrible graphics at first, but after 30mins I was hooked. So many good times. So many friends I played with I haven't heard from in going on 9 years. I hope they're all happy wherever they are

I played so much Minecraft with my cousins and friends over the pandemic. We did build battles, Minecraft manhunts, servers where we stole each other’s stuff for laughs, and so much more. It hurts knowing that that was almost 3-4 years ago. I’ll be going into high school soon, and it’s honestly crazy. Those were the best years of my life. Thank you Mojang, for creating a game so powerful that it becomes kid’s entire childhood.

I suddenly realised that i had this massive obsession over minecraft like I played everyday during pandemia with my friends to somehow cope. Now when I think about it, one day I left my world, my pets my builds all of that and never came back. It just hits me and kinda hurts every time I hear this music play
think of it like a send off not sadness I have problems like this too because I named my dogs (names) within the game and one of them passed away recently.
Its how life is, bittersweet, sad that theres an end, but also great that theres an end. Its not about the destination, its about the journey, and every good journey has an end.

I mourn my old days with this game but it also made big impact on my life and at some point created the version of myself that I am now and that's why I truly am happy. Those are good memories
i think of it as nostolgia for the old days with the legacy console it reminds me of simpler times now im 15 and i can say i was lucky to just snag that child hood of the 2000s with a ps3 and ps4 and it was great

For the way my parents lived throughout my childhood, I didn't get to experience it like most kids from my generation (2000-2010) would've had, one of my childhood dreams was to play Minecraft, I'd never had a PC, nor a console that could play it until some years ago, I'm so glad I did get to make memories with it back then though so I still manage to want to cry by seeing this & it makes me happy it does, it makes me appreciate my life today even more

I remember listening to this when I was on the Xbox 360 when you had the castle and nether portal. I was 6 at the time and this music makes me start to cry. I went back on 360 Minecraft but on a different cd and it didn’t have the castle. I can’t see these memories because my mum thew away my Xbox 360 a few years ago when I got the Xbox 1. I hope anyone with the old disk can have a great time.
the castle still exists, if you play the game pass version there is still a castle in the tutorial (for xbox one)

i remember my last blocks in the xbox 360 version i was doing a parkour tower in creative and i was doing a maze level. It was close to my birthday, my dad called me and he said he had a surprise and it was the xbox one. I played minecraft on it it was different my minecraft cd stills inside xbox 360 after so much years, but we used a pendrive to store games data beacuse the console was very old and not had much space so i think the worlds are stored there.

Time flies by fast, it feels like yesterday when i was going through caves, scared, trying to find diamonds, building diamond houses, trying to summon herobrine, trying to make a server with the old boys, having your first dog, first diamonds, all that is past's proprety. We sadly only live once.
i wish i played this more, but the game was so lonely. i never had anyone to play it with. it was nice to find a dog. it made it a lot better, but one was killed once and i couldnt handle having them anymore bc i knew they would eventually die or i would stop playing. its super sad. i might start playing again though for memories

I have minecraft but I have no one to play with I used to play these 2 bootleg games of minecraft but recently I stopped and I abandoned the games only playing roblox I have a bunch of pets on one of the games and now there probably wondering if I'll ever come back they probably think that I abandoned them and there right cause there's gonna be a day where I delete both of those bootleg games and my wolfs and cats are going to sit in my base watching as the world slowly begins to disappear taking them with it they look up one last time to hear me say " I'm sorry " before disappearing forever I can hear them saying " it's okay you did the right thing we're lucky that we had you as our owner you fed us and threw potions at us whenever our health was low you did everything in your power to keep us alive and we're grateful for that but now it's time for us to go we love you and we'll never forget how much fun we had while you where here with us goodbye friend it was fun while it lasted but now this is goodbye I know it's hard but you have to let us go thank you for always being there for us we'll never forget you goodbye friend . And that's it they disappeared and there was nothing left of the world that they called home it was gone for good it's over now there're gone I did it but at what cost?

Those days. were.. the most... special.. the imagination of a kid with no responsibilities whatsoever with no care in the world..
Now looking back.. you turn on the pc & launch Minecraft and play on your world to experience what those days felt like once again..
You travel across your Minecraft world & suddenly the outside starts raining gradually becoming heavier & heavier as you walk through the mountain you used as a mine, then pass the fishing lake.. You admire all the memories & fun you used to have building & making these wonderful creations, and asked yourself "Where did the time go?" As you come back to your Minecraft house you set aside all your weapons & tools & blocks except your armor & sword.. You release your dog and start heading up a mountain, & as you make up to the mountain you turn back to see your Minecraft world 1 last time.. before looking at the sunset & say to your dog.. "So this is it huh? The End Of A Era".
You take off all your armor & sword and give it to your dog as you both look at the sunset and say "Goodbye Old Friend" before logging out.
This song playing on every sunset in bedrock would make me cry
All great things come to end at some point, and I think the original Era of minecraft heavily reflects that. We grow up, and so does our minds, and I think that's something we have to remember and reflect back on.
So goodbye old minecraft, it was good while it lasted.

I’m sure you’ve heard this multiple times but we really just tend to take breaks. When we see clips like this, we get that “oh wow I should get back on Minecraft type feeling. It’s relatable.👍
The thing about Minecraft is it's perfect music and it's gameplay go great together, but you can't have Minecraft music without Minecraft, but Minecraft with the music isn't the same. As I get older and better at Minecraft the joy of it starts to fade but when I hear the music I just can't stop.

I remember using the same minecraft world but with multiple playthroughs, I'd work my way to the top and then leave it all in a diamond pyramid topped by a beacon and covered in stone to make it look nice, then I would travel far away and begin anew, leaving my past behind but allowing it to exist in more than just my heart.

God man, i’m over here bout to fucking tear up, scratch that I am, god I miss being a dumbass kid with no worries about my life, no depression kicking me down, no epilepsy, no nothing except for waking up on a christmas morning to an xbox and downloading minecraft, learning the game through tutorial worlds , my dad and brother playing with me, getting scared of caves and coming home to what was the best activity in the world to me.
