I’ve been dying sence I was a little girl with the help of my momma now Im 72 and still going strong. Love your videos and so new to you thanks for sharing this with me God bless Stay safe and stay home if possible.
Great tutorial! I have been scouring the net and there doesn't seem to be anything on how to dip-dye in a half moon, v-shape or jagged shape...anyone? It's killing me.
Andi B I haven’t tried this yet, but I’m planning on making one and this is what I assume would work! Try making your strands much longer than you need so that you can have excess to cut off. Then tie/put them onto your dowel without securing them permanently (I would think just a strong knot that you can easily untie later should work!). Then dip dye and let it dry just as she instructs. Once it’s dry, you can untie some of the knots and pull on the string to bring the dyed ends closer/farther from the rod depending on the shape you want to achieve. Do that with each strand until you get your desired shape and secure the knots more permanently with something like hot glue or super glue!! Then trim off the ends in whatever shape you like (this is where having plenty of excess is important so that you can make them all look even and neat!). Hope this helped some!!

i really need a tutorial but with an acrylic material because with that it's not easy as with wool :/
Rit sells dye for synthetic materials including acrylic! Just read the front of the bottles!
It’s a shame the person who posted the video doesn’t bother to address comments.
