I went to a private girls school with a zero tolerance bullying policy- enforced AF. It's not uncommon for private schools to have policies like this. That's one downside of public schools- they just let the bullying go on.

Blaine helps Kurt with bullying ... and then a few short years later he dated the guy that Kurt was so scared of because he bullied and threatened to kill him. The writers couldn't have destroyed Blaine as a character more thoroughly if they had tried. No idea how people can still like Kurt with Blaine after Blaine cheated, acted like a whiny child, and happily dated Kurt's bully. Klaine used to be great once, but the writers killed it completely.

Because fan fiction exists and we can pretend season 6 never happened. We can work with whatever seasons we want, and can remember what all the characters were originally like before the writers went "screw it" and destroyed the character of everyone we liked. We can remember what the characters were like when glee was in its glory days, when characters were relatable and didn't contradict their own ideals.
Now let me go eat my chocolate, write my fan fiction, and reach seasons 1-3 over and over.

Kurt’s face at 00:43 breaks me :( he’s so shocked to hear that there’s a school with a zero tolerance for bullying, a school that actually enforces it 100%...it’s like he’d given up hope, like he just expected being beaten up and tormented to be his life.

I love Klaine but y'all gotta admit. Blaine's character went downhill from Season 4. The way they made him a cheater made me so pissed. It didn't seem like his character to do that ffs. Season 4 to halfway through Season 6 was awful with him. But tbh, he was more tolerable in Season 6 but his character development really wasn't the best.
Watching as a guy who is now out to some people (but still has a long way to go to fully accept being Gay), this made me cry! When this aired, I was in the closet and in denial and got picked on for the way I acted. I even got told I was like Kurt lol. Sorry, no one probably cares but I can't believe this made me cry!

Bros, I cracked the code, the reason klaine was basically ruined by the writers after season 5 was because they noticed how uncomfortable Darren and Chris where since klainers were aggressively shipping the actors too! So they tried to mess up klaine so that they would focus more on other couples to make Chris and Darren more comfortable, but instead of making klaine die down, they just made klainers extremely angry

You know as great as the acting is in this scene, and that by itself, it works, in the long-term, it doesn't. Why? Because up until that particular episode, there was NO INDICATION of Kurt being bullied, or as Will put it, "looking miserable for weeks"! The writers just DECIDED that Karofsky was bullying Kurt, and there was no buildup to it. It was just forced in there to make a statement about how hard it is to be gay, and if you think about it, that's not very good writing.
Not everything needs a buildup. The show isn't going to have each episode go day to day. Think about that. Writers can only do so much. If you can't deal with that, use your imagination of what's going on instead of criticizing every single detail that you can think of.
Alex Gu I understand that not everything needs a buildup, but a storyline like this works better WITH a buildup. The way the Glee writers did this came out of nowhere, and when that happens, it's a lot to take in and feel sorry for immediately. Anyway Glee ended a little over a year ago, and while it was on, the show had a habit of introducing plotlines out of nowhere.
Dude, the first episode of the whole show they threw Kurt on a thrash bin, and 19 episodes later they show how Kurt is being bullied for the Gaga theme that he used (even Finn called him indirectly fag, tho he had his reasons).
Joaquin Martinez Yeah but it wasn't happening on a daily basis. In this particular episode, the first sign of this is that Karofsky shoved Kurt against the lockers. When Will (Mr. Schuester) talks to him about this, he says that Kurt had been looking miserable for weeks. The way Karofsky and Azimio were picking on Kurt is nothing compared to what we the audience saw started happening in this particular episode, you get what I'm saying? The writers were expecting the audience to believe that this kind of bullying and tormenting had been going on for a long time, when really it wasn't.
