I cut the bent handle off a really cheap junky ratchet and made my own. Sanding it nice and round and them put a piece of rubber hose around the outside. Had no use for that junky ratchet but now I have a thumbwheel ratchet if I ever need it.
I will suggest one of those small magnetized parts trays. HF has some that are about 1 1/2 wide by 3” long. Works great for small stuff like this as you can soak small parts in carb cleaner in the tray.

Oh, I am going to have to try that, !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Palm ratchet with built-in swivel action! LOL. Just kidding. I bought a Snap-On palm ratchet in the early 80's. It still has a place in my toolbox.
I bet it was worth every penny!
I have a 1/4" and 3/8". I have used them quite a lot! Funny how I don't see them for sale at garage/yard sales! Good video! Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks 👍 I wonder why because they are very useful!

I've had a HB set of those for years. Not used often but a real game changer in the right situation. Love your videos

Great to have for those very tight places.
I have used it already it is very handy but not for every day use!
@@djstoolrestorations I use it in very tight spaces and then use the ratchet to finish it off.
Snap on still makes them
I just looked them up, palm rat used 74.00!
HF sells a set of these for 9.99 all three. I have then they are decent.
They are a good tool and not for every where, but sometimes makes the job easier!
Talking about powder coating
I would like to try it myself!
