I don't know why but this interview brought a tear to my eye - to hear such a Great 60's music icon speak so humbly about opportunities being given too him - its almost as though he doesn't recognise how talented he is as a singer songwriter musician - but we do 💕
    Thank You 🙏

His lyrics were amazing. He actually used words and phrases that were rarely or never used before. Such as in Jug Band Music: "I'd begun to see things as they ain't." Do You Believe in Magic: "It'll start with a smile, it won't wipe off your face no matter how hard you try." Did You Ever Have to Make Up Your Mind: "And just when you think she's that one in the world, your heart gets stolen by some mousy little girl." Nashville Cats: been playing since they's babies, got work before they's two."

My husband Chuck Lindert/ Lindert Guitars ,had the beauty of meeting up with John in Nashville NAMM show in the 80's. He liked Chuck's designs. We went out for dinner afterward. Good times.

Doing Mississippi John Hurt proud. Not many people can claim that he was their teacher, but you can! What an awesome performer and songwriter- John Sebastian: One of the greats! Did you know that he played the harmonica on the Doors “Roadhouse Blues”?
