It would sure be nice if you could put blades in the both the holders, so you wouldn't have to switch blades half through.

Is there any way this can be done with the explorer 3?

Yes you can use the scoring stylus instead of the scoring wheel.

Hello, How can you make a WRITTEN INVITATION with the cricut pens on the inside of the card. I'm doing a 50th wedding anniversary invitation for my friends. I did like the way your video used the scoring wheel. But, being blank for 75 people is way to difficult. Any ideas??

After you cut the card out you can fold it backwards and have the Cricut draw on it. Or you can have it write text on small rectangles of cardstock and then glue them on the inside of the card. Here are a few videos on how to use Cricut pens.

You're welcome! The card file is not on Design Space but you can purchase the SVG file from Design Bundles here designbundles.net/plusstore/1257876-mr-and-mrs-wedding-rings-card-cover-with-hearts-an?ref=ncSCqi

I'm brand new with all of this and I wonder what I actually have here.... I have the Maker Bundle and it came with some sort of wheel cutter. I'm not sure if it's a fabric cutter or a scoring wheel! How can I tell them apart? And can I use a fabric cutting wheel for scoring?

    • @littlecraftnest

When I purchased my Maker it came with the fabric rotary blade, I believe that is what you have. The fabric rotary blade would probably cut through your paper, it is not meant for scoring. The scoring wheel is thicker than the fabric rotary blade.

I just switch from my crappy brother scan and cut machine to a cricut maker 3. This looks so simple and user friendly; does it matter to change the color or you only put it pink due to the pink glitter card stock you was using?
    Thanks in advance.

No it does not matter what colour you set your materials to in Design Space. It is so you can get an idea of what it looks like and remember what colour material to put on your mat, if using multiple colours or material.

can you make your own templates with scoring dashes? Will Cricut recognize the dashes made in other software outside of design space. @LittleCRAFTNest

When I upload images to Design Space from somewhere else, any score lines that were made show up as cut lines, so I have to look in my layers panel and change the cut lines (that should be score lines) to score lines under operation.
