A simple, step-by-step guide to activate "Combi Control" on your OFA Essence remote control.
Step 1
Combi Control for TV+SAT is set up automatically
To set up for TV+SAT+AMP, first hold down the Magic key until the LED blinks twice
Step 2
Press the Combi Control key
Step 3
Press 2, Combi Control is now set up for TV+SAT+AMP
To use Combi Control, press the Combi Control key
In Combi Control mode, the AV key will control the TV
The channel keys will control the SAT
And the volume keys will control the AMP

Don't have the old remote for the telly as it is broke and the dog had sat on it and put subtitles on and I don't know how to turn them off there is no subtitle button and I have pressed every single button on the remote one by one and can not seam to trun them off any help

The television does not have to be on, if you program your remote control via a basic code or the learning feature. Only if you want to use the search method it has to be turned on. the explanation is not clear... you are not talking about model of tv or if you are connecting any satellite TV or how you put DVD too

My 7120 is a piece of junk, it doesnt even work according to the instructions. Instructions say after I enter the code for my device the blue led will blink twice and stay off, it doesnt, it blinks and then stays on for about 5 seconds. Unable to program it is completely useless I hope Amazon will take it back.
