This is the story of the Willie Dee, USS William D Porter, purportedly the unluckiest ship in navy history, A few things that could be wrong, many conflicting reports of the torpedo either detonating off of the bow or in the wake of the battleship Iowa, daughter of the captain of the Iowa said bow in an interview quoting from his diary so I went with that, also, there was an unconfirmed report that the Willie Dee managed to blow up the front garden of the commandant of the Aleutian islands house but I couldnt find much to substantiate those claims either. anyway, thanks a ton for watching and if you read this far into the desc you are a hero! hope you enjoyed :)
