- So here is Slayer cover No.26 !!! This time „Die by the sword“ from the „Show no mercy“ album. Drum track made with superior drummer and arranged to the speed of the original recording. By the way, i tuned down one half step. Hope you guys like this one, watch out there is more „show no mercy“-stuff to come. R.I.P. Jeff Hannemann
Jeff Hanneman is so damn underappreciated because he was the quiet one in the band. This was his song back in the day.
SO not true. 99% of the Slayer fans I know, and have met, know that Jeff was the heart of the band, and the other 1% learned that fact.
Jeff is the quiet one, so that makes him the george Harrison of slayer. Does that make Tom the cute one like Paul mccartney? Is the rebel kerry king, the John lennon of slayer? And Dave the funny one, the ringo of slayer? 😮

You need to start doing tutorials on these because it’s a pain in the ass constantly having to rewind and put in slow motion lol I eventually get it but I could learn so much more faster if you did
What I do is learn the parts from other lessons where they break the parts down then I watch this guy's videos and put it all together.

Top Cover und unglaublich versierte Anschlagstechnik. Mit dem "krummen" Daumen gehen die Sechzehntelnoten schon leichter von der Hand. Wundert mich, dass du ihn bei den down strokes wieder begradigst. Mir wäre das zu kompliziert. Aber bei Michael Brettner hab ich diese Technik auch gesehen. Starke Nummer. Danke fürs Teilen.

I just hit replay to listen again while I type never-mind on that! I forgot Show No Mercy is in E standard, duh, so this is what it sounds like in Eflat I just played Black Magic a few weeks ago. How the hell do you learn these so quick and solo like that and who's this character looking like Yngvwie Malmsteen keeps showing up in my recommendations?! Lol! Every lesson i see the main riff only uses the fifth and fourth strings fretted instead of the full power chord. Is there a reason? I use the full power chord because its easier and really dont hear any difference
