    One campaign sourcebook, one modular adventures book and one campaign book would be great to get each year, with a rules expansion once in a while.
    It would be awesome if you reviewed the individual adventures. Thanks for the great videos.
    Cheers!

    I would be very interested in your take on the individual adventures, considering they are so eclectic in/of themselves. Generic reviews of the whole book are good, but due to all reviews being fairly similar i feel an individual take on each one would be rather enlightening.
    Thanks again and i look forward to your next 5e video

    I really hope that Wizard of the Coast stay with the 5th edition as the final one, and from there build D&D and the Forgottens realms into the most well descriped version ever. They came far with the 2nd edition Forgotten Realm's material, but there were potential for a LOT more. I hope they will make descriptions of everything from the far west to the far east, and from the farthest north, to the south. Forgotten Realms was chosen as a base for D&D 5th Edition.....well then show us this entire world in a 5th edition version. even if it takes 100 years 😀

      That would be very much like Mystara which would be really cool.

      I agree. I really dislike FR as a campaign setting, so as long as WotC is wrecking FR, they aren't screwing up anything I care about.

      @@kirin347 Forgotten Realms is a great campaign setting again, after it was destoyed in 4th edition. it has returned to its former glory removing the 4th edition destruction. I would love to see 5th edition modules added to Forgotten Realms like we did see in 2nd edition, and even more!.

    You are my go to when I am considering purchasing a book. Your method of explain how the book can be used has been spot on.

    A thing made for children that slowly drives a person insane? Sounds like Elmo lol.
    Definitely going to pick this book up after we get done moving. Thank you so much for the honest review man! Love these videos going deep into a book or edition of d&d :)

    I definitely like the scenario/adventure books much more than the campaign books. I think the campaign books make me feel like I'm stuck in a box creatively. Good review Dave. Definitely more my style. Thanks for the heads up on the map possibility. Hope you feel better man.

    Appreciate the review. I for one enjoy this type of supplement. I liked the ones they put out for 4e. Thank you for sharing!

    I'm guessing these adventures don't require a lot of prep for a DM? You could just read one adventure at a time for the next session and probably get away with one page of notes?

    Thanks for the review. I don't want to be unfair, but the scenarios seem to be "fillers". As you said, good to play between regular scenarios or even to play something completly different. Interesting concept, but I'l probably pass.

    I really didn't like the adventure with the dynamite in the mine. The use of dynamite just seems totally out of place in the setting and as far as I could see no explanation for the inclusion such advanced technology.

    • @DravenSwiftbow
      @DravenSwiftbow  3 года назад

      The DMG does have advanced technology as optional items that require Intelligence checks to learn to use. Rime of the Frostmaiden also had Laser Pistols from the Gmonish Mind Flayers.
      I feel like they are starting to incorporate more of those kinds of items in the hopes more campaigns might use them.

    Someone didn't like Dungeon mag.? Hard to believe! That space tower scenario sounds like it might be worth getting the book for by itself. But I'm clamping down on what I buy, so I'll pass, even though it sounds good. Be well and stay safe!

    This one does sound interesting especially since I like mysteries but my wallet has taken such hits lately and I can't afford everything so this I probably won't be getting at least not for a long time.

      I read all the reviews on Amazon and it looks like the only mystery is within candelkeep. It is not a series of Sherlock homles style mysteries.

    • @DravenSwiftbow
      @DravenSwiftbow  3 года назад

      There is more to the mystery aspect than just the setting, but these are short adventures so in many cases the mystery is part of the set up to get the PC's to Candlekeep. Due to the short length of each adventure you are correct in that there isn't really any lengthy or deep mysteries to solve for the most part.
