Love the comet effects. I used to buy single shot comets from Hands fireworks when I lived in Canada (their main store was 15 minutes from my house). Hadn’t found any since I moved to the US, but now I what to look for! Definitely going to add these to my next show
I tried a method of using a small amount of alum. foil and gun powder. Hold the fuses together wrap the foil on the bottom like fixing a hot dog, dump a small amount of gun power on the fuses and wrap it completely with the remaining foil. Does take a little more time but neat watching the gun powder hit.
Shell fusing is so inconsistent you pretty much have to replace them all with fuse from the same roll if you want tight timing. There's always slightly different burn rates even among the same fuse type, and minor variations in length. Not a big deal for most as it's not important firing one at a time. But in a rack, it can be very noticeable.
I completely agree! If you want identical timing you’ll have to replace the shells with the exact amount of each times fuse. Either that or replace the shells with the same amount of quick fuse for each to act like quick match.
Cody, I didn't see you measuring the fuse. you need to do is reinsert your "quick fuse", make sure you measure the exact same length of fuse for all 3 shells. Using quick fuse will get your timings exactly the same or pretty much very close to getting all 3 shells to break st once
I have an idea how you could fuse it to get the same effect... you'd have a use a green fuse for row one all the way from front to back and then the quick hobby fuse from left to right and then connect the quick fuse to the green one leading from front to back (I hope you get what I was saying

I have my shell racks and replace all the visco in the shells with the grey quick…too in theory, simulate like a quickmatch on a 1.3 shells. So after I replace all the fuse then I I’ll tie 2-3 shells together on the same fuse to make flights. I’ll Also leave single ones too. It keeps my shows goin more steady pace at least with the cans…only cause I do mainly hand light shows. Haven’t gone electric yet. Lol.

Im pretty sure I have the 18 shot rack I drilled 2 holes through the tops of my tubes. About 3/8 of a inch And then I ran my Fuse.Through the holes, so I would not get fuse jumping. But I am experimenting Doing the same thing, but putting dollar store straws through my fuse leading to my tubes, so it would be very impossible for a fuse Why don't you just E match the shell
Superior fireworks are probably Some of the best fireworks out there on the market to buy but the main problem is that you have to have a $1000 minimum.

I still use the hands comets often! My mom loves how the tiny crackling comet looks so I make sure to buy a few every year!
Have you tried the 7 inch shells by USA fireworks if not I highly recommend getting them and showcasing them on the channel
