One thing you said about being expressive the way you dress yourself might not be in the culture of Brazil I think that it depends on where you are, Brazil is HUGE (like you can fit the entire Europe over here) and the second you said that I thought: she would fall in love with Bahia (my state), here is different and people do like to express a lot with clothes, dances, music, different religions or belifs as well, and as we like to say: Bahia is the cultural cradle of Brazil.
