Massive respect to Jack for talking through the gear he can and knows about because not many musicians would do that (and, by the sound of things, Alex and Zack would have if they felt well enough to do so)
I always love how Perry is so enthusiastic about the gear, he reacts the same way i imagine i would if i had the chance to talk gear with some of these professional guys
Even if I don't like the band featured in Rig Rundown (like this group) I still love watching & learning about the gear that is used. In addition the interviewer makes it that much more entertaining & there knowledge of equipment adds to the overall Greatness that is Premier Guitar Rig Rundown!
+slimjimihendrix this is new. Usually the people who haven't heard their music tend to assume they suck. but it's nice to finally see someone new listen to them and liking them. i recommend listening to their older albums as they are 'heavier' than the new ones.

Man, my little band used to plays shows at this one venue north of Houston, and we opened for Story Of the Year one time. We also played several shows with Flyleaf, back then called Passerby. Those were great days. On a side note, I’m converting the wiring of one of my Les Paul’s to the wiring jack has, remove the pickup selector switch and remove two of the knobs.

I must admit, i miss Alex Garkarth with a PRS Mira… but hey great vid!🤘
Jack didn't even know his strings, and his guitar is basically a Tom DeLonge Strat made by a different brand. 2 Seymour Duncan's and only a volume knob. I love it.
party penguins thank you for clarifying this! I've always wondered why they made the switch. Imo their guitar tones were at their prime when they both would use PRS
I surely understand the convenience and consistency of an amp modeler, but in a rig run down it's like 'yep' and done. Part of it is there is a passion behind a pedal board, when an artist will deal with all the issues because they fell for a sound that they feel is part of who they are.
Is that guy wearing a thrice shirt?? Is this some sort of foreshadowing of a possible Thrice/ All Time Low tour?? Would that be possible?? Am I overthinking this??
He wanted so bad to talk about the dick drawn on the back of his first guitar. He turned the guitar over a couple times in hopes the interviewer would bring it up.
Silverjerk true, there are many more of them. Should have said "Modelers". My bad friend! I'm really jonesing for a high end modeler right now honestly. It does always bum me out when I see them in a rig rundown though haha.
I have an Axe Fx Ultra. I was an old school analog guy for many years. I love my Triple Rec's, Orange Rockerverb's, and VH4's. When I finally got my Axe, I offloaded every amp I had. It was seriously that much of a game changer. I'm actually upgrading to a II shortly as I really want to start using scenes, which is the only shortcoming of the Ultra (that and it's a little less accurate than the II). Absolutely encourage picking one up when you can afford it. I coupled mine with a solid power amp and a 2x12 cabinet from Port City and haven't looked back since. Perfect setup for stage or studio.
I've been using a thunder verb 50, and an omega 4x12 1x15. I love the sound from this rig but man does my back hate it. It appeals to be so much to just pop the front off of a rack and get to work. But always afraid I'll miss what I have when it's gone.
To be fair, I did miss my amps, aesthetically. Just seeing them stacked up in the studio was always really appealing to me, and I love turning them on and hearing them come to life. But I definitely don't miss the tone, and more importantly the warmth of those amps -- the Axe just does an amazing job at emulating both. And just like you, lugging the rig around was doing a number on my back. Really big fan of the Omegas man, great cabs for the money.
They used to play PRS guitars... Jack played PRS McCarty from like late 2008 to early 2012 then he playing with the ESP Eclipse since then. Alex switched to Fender Telecaster like 2 years ago.
I didn't think this kind of hot topic mallcore music still existed. It's like when you learn a nu metal band from the early 00's is out there still touring and making albums, akin to unearthing a frozen neanderthal or other ancient forerunner of modern humanity.
Massive respect to Jack for talking through the gear he can and knows about because not many musicians would do that (and, by the sound of things, Alex and Zack would have if they felt well enough to do so)
tbh i just love hearing jack talk, i could listen to him all day. his voice is so calming to me idk
yess
can we get a jack ASMR channel please and thank you
We need a new one of these, updated all time low rig rundown
yes and this time with zack and alex in it
i dont think much has changed besides Jack moving to Fender
Two of Zack's basses are Mike Dirnt's signature basses.
Cool
I LOVE WATCHING JACK PRETEND HE KNOWS ABOUT GUITARS
Bruh he does lel
that was a SLICK pick steal that Perry just pulled off at 9:25
surprised at how knowledgeable jack is on his guitars
I always love how Perry is so enthusiastic about the gear, he reacts the same way i imagine i would if i had the chance to talk gear with some of these professional guys
interviewer: *interviews tons of guitarists and works for a fairly large guitar magazine*
interviewer: *doesn't know what an Evertune bridge is*

Loved every single Rig Rundown I've seen. Be it from some bands I don't know to what I know. Gold stars guys.
Good god, these guys are the sort of group I usually hate, but they seem cool and can write the HELL out of a pop song. Thumbs up!
I listened to their stuff and have to agree.
+slimjimihendrix this is new. Usually the people who haven't heard their music tend to assume they suck. but it's nice to finally see someone new listen to them and liking them. i recommend listening to their older albums as they are 'heavier' than the new ones.

Demboy Gumboc
I already did, haha! Whoever writes their songs is fantastic. I believe it's at least partly them which is really neat.
+slimjimihendrix the lead singer usually writes the music. hahahah. but sometimes it's their producer or somebody else. so I assume you're a fan now?
I've been wating for this rig rundown for a while. Really enjoyed it. Now i need to get those kemper profiles from Jack and Mark Hoppus lol
love the story of the year reference. these guys are very down to earth
"all my guitar are black and purple" then pulls out a white guitar lol
therealrene maybe his backup guitar 😉
Damn the Green Day influence is so heavy here! (Not a bad thing at all!)
Alec Dakin well also blink’s and foo’s, they have a Tom Delonge Strat, Tom Delongish paint job, and a Shifflet Tele
The best thing in this vid is when he smoothly stole Jagk's guitar pick
Lol i saw you steal that jack skellington pick
Frank Dominguez I have one of those 🤣 and one Jack's young renegades tour picks.

Anyone know what Jack uses to cover the holes on his guitar?
Bryan Contreras Orphan Meat.

I have been waiting 5 years for a rig rundown for All Time Low
Man i love jack's and alex's guitar
Jack didn't even know his strings, and his guitar is basically a Tom DeLonge Strat made by a different brand. 2 Seymour Duncan's and only a volume knob. I love it.
Anyone know what those black "pot hole/pick guard hole" covers are/who makes them (on Jack's guitars)?
Anyone who knows what Jack uses to cover up the holes from the tone knobs and toggle switch?
Not a fan of the band but I love the jack skellington guitars and wish they got produced for the public...
Funny how they talk about how great Feldman's guitar tones are when Future Hearts is like the only album i didnt rlly like the tones
What happened to their PRS's?
Right? Those Miras were rockin
We know Jack has been using ESP Eclipse since 2012 but somehow wish Alex still plays the PRS Mira.
Alex said that they stopped using them because it was difficult to get new parts for them when they were overseas for extended periods of time.
party penguins thank you for clarifying this! I've always wondered why they made the switch. Imo their guitar tones were at their prime when they both would use PRS
I personally loved it most when they both used SG's
Can anyone tell me what those things are that are covering the switch and knobs on Jack's guitar?
It's where the old controls used to be but he doesn't use them so to avoid hitting them when playing, he's taken them out ad covered them.
so happy to watch this
That's proper weird cause the first Rig Rundown I saw was the Green Day one and I watched others after too.
Pretty cool to see a touring act using the Budda Kemper profiles I made back in 2012
"It's the best profile on Rig Manager" haha international touring act literally just pulling free profiles off the internet.
what cab did u use for the profiles?
i bought that Fender Tele Deluxe Chris Shifflet as my ,,Real'' Fender man i love it
TOM DELONGE STRAT SO SICK 🔥
How did Jack plug the holes in his guitars? Like where the toggle and extra knobs went?
What are those flat things on Jack's guitars?
I surely understand the convenience and consistency of an amp modeler, but in a rig run down it's like 'yep' and done. Part of it is there is a passion behind a pedal board, when an artist will deal with all the issues because they fell for a sound that they feel is part of who they are.
by far nicest guitars I ever seen
Nice to see the Thrice shirt, full circle is formed when the Thrice rig rundown was uploaded haha
Sweet! Thanks for covering the lads from ATL been waiting for this. HAHA! Btw, can y'all cover Blink-182 and 5SOS in the future? More power, PG! :D
+Patch Javier theres already a blink rundown its in the AT&T road documentary thingy
The interviewer looks exactly like the lead singer of the Dillinger escape plan
dang everyone is using the kemper amp
whats that thing he used to cover the hole of the knobs? anyone?
6:40 coolest fuckin neck ever
so GLAD IT WaS ACTUALLY THEM
thats how all the rigs in the future look like: guitar to an digital emulating device! it take a bit of the charm off but hey, its simple and reliable
Anyone know what Seymour Duncans he has in his ESP?

Does anyone know what the fender acoustic that Alex uses is called ?
What are those plugs over the knob holes called?
How can the PG interviewer NOT know what evertune is?! Wow.
How many times dose jack say DUDE!!!
ryan phillips and phillip sneed from Story of a the Year please... i'm. curious to their's pedals
He plays in a Punk band and has an ESP that says "BONER" on it... That's amazing, as well as true Rock 'N' Roll
Also I have a feeling that Jack likes _The Nightmare Before Christmas_
Rig Tour with Blind Guardian would be nice.
What's the song in the intro
hey i found it they’re called the DiMarzio DD2200BK
Is that guy wearing a thrice shirt?? Is this some sort of foreshadowing of a possible Thrice/ All Time Low tour?? Would that be possible?? Am I overthinking this??
I had a Tom DeLonge sig in daphne blue and let her go. That will probably go down as my biggest regret.
lol notice him keep the pick by switching it to the other hand
when?
You guys should do Crown the empire and Beartooth
What's the song playing in the beginning?
I'm probably late but Kids In The Dark by All Time Low 😘♥️
WTF with holes covered? Jack why
Jack i wanna see what the signs on the back of ur guitars say
what is intro song name?
we're is Jacks dude counter
we are? don'cha mean where (not we're)

This is really cool but we need another green day rig rundown!
DUDEEEEEEEE!
been about 4 years since i was into this band or kind of music, man does jack look weird now
I wanted to see the other fender telecasters.
What'ch out, earthquake at 1:41 min.
Haha that first dude is such a noob. It's adorable.
How many times dose jack say dude
He wanted so bad to talk about the dick drawn on the back of his first guitar. He turned the guitar over a couple times in hopes the interviewer would bring it up.
does anyone know the name of the straps they are using?
I don't think if this question is still relevant but they're DiMarzio clip lock straps
Why would you do a rig rundown if you don’t know what the bass is, or what pickups are in it?
Please do Panic at the disco!!!!
do a Sum 41 rundown
Yap, we are running the avalon klung klung
Seems like most, my self included, dislike this band, but love their rigs. Kudos
me *is a jack barakat stan*
me *watches all 14 minutes*
me *cries*
me *fangirls*

A lot of players on these dont
Probably 10s or 11s

wait if jack bypasses a pickup then what's the point of having 2 of them on there, couldnt he just take out one
An empty hole on a Les Paul esque guitar where the neck pickup should be looks kinda gross (to me at least) so maybe that's why
I love how they talk a lot and does not explain or show anything about their instruments.
who the hell is this cat? He got nice guitars.E s p and shecter are quality . he must be a real player and not acollecter, collecters are dorks
THUMB UP.
ruins that TD strat with that stupid sticker... smh
They spelled Panic! At The Disco wrong.
What the hell is an auxiliary guitar player? Not hating, genuinely have no clue
