Front wheel drive with wider tires at front and narrow tires at back or narrow tires at front and wider tires at back. Which out of two options will give good pick up and mileage to the car? Car is used for city commutes only and no racing.

Hey, my question specifically relates to 4wd, 1/5 scale buggy tire size. I currently have Rovan tires on it (170x80 knobbies in rear and 170x60 ribbed pattern in front) and I'm wondering if I should get the same width and knobby pattern all the way around. Feels like in not maximizing my 4wd handling with the smaller ribbed tires up front.

Nice video. What would you say to slightly larger diameter on the front of a RWD buggy? rears are wider, front's are narrow. Just happens to be what I've got handy! cheers 👍🍺🇬🇧

Interesting, I didn't think smaller road tyres were desirable. Won't make the mistake of increasing the diameter for speed runs 👍

Utter nonsense. Have you considered how 1/8th on road cars work? I'm talking about circuit raced cars - not just driving them in a straight line & calling it drag racing - 4wd, no centre diff, solid rear with larger diameter & one way front with smaller diameter. Read up on a thing called run out.
