The Sandusky, OH location is super small and doesn’t have enough rides. I highly recommend that you someday visit one of the bigger locations like this location in Northern Texas due to it having more and bigger rides! I also hope that the Sandusky location gets expanded someday like the one in the Poconos did.

The location in Fitchburg, MA is the only location that features 2 full sized water parks. One of them has 2 tube slides known as Alberta Falls and a body slide known as Otter Run. The other water park has a family raft ride known as River Canyon Run, a Giant Funnel ride known as Howlin’ Tornado, and a trapdoor body slide known as Wolf Tail. I highly recommend this location!!!🤗
@Olivia 757 Yes, including everything at GWL! Great Wolf Lodge has turned from a happy, howling heaven (2010-2018) into a gloomy hell (2019-present). I'm still completely homesick for the 2010-2018 activity at Great Wolf Lodge including the Kids character mascots.

I just can't stand the new Wiley and Violet suits. They are far, far less as attractive compared to the old looks. Why couldn't they just make identical copies of the old ones? The old Wiley and Violet were super adorable. They had puffy cheeks and kid-friendly faces. I especially loved the old Wiley with his forest ranger outfit. That made him look so cute.
My guess is money.. and mass production. And it sucks.. we have the new Wiley and Violet suits in Niagara, and none of the staff like performing in them.. we only got them because the Violet suit we had since 2011 fell apart - and our location wanted to get Sammy Squirrel (that one's ok - she can move her neck) Due to the poor quality of the 2019 version, Niagara actually kept the older Wiley around when the new version is out for cleaning, and are still using the previous suits for Oliver, Brinley and Rachel.
I work for the company and all I can say that they are getting fixed 🙌. They were made from international mascot company that is a cheap mascot company. They only got those suites because the old ones kept hurting the entertainers necks and body.

@@finlaymccartney889 Heck no! But they should at least redesign them - except for Sammy, none of the 2019 versions look aesthetically pleasing. The 2013 ones were close to Disney/Universal quality - the new ones are junk. Our location in Niagara only got the new versions of Wiley, Violet and Sammy because Sammy wasn't at our location at the time + the original Violet costume had deteriorated to the point it was no longer usable.

I’m sorry but their bigger heads, slim bodies, and wide open mouths are very off putting to me, I’d love it if they went back to their previous design.

Hi John! You're right, Great Wolf Lodge is a great place to take the kiddos. Now if it's just you and your wife, you might want to consider another option where you can relax and unwind. You can't go wrong with the wildly popular Gaylord Texan or perhaps you might want to splurge a bit with a visit to Grapevine's only boutique property, Hotel Vin. Either way, you're going to love your visit to Grapevine!
At the top of Fort Mackenzie are 2 slides known as Totem Towers. One is Orange and the other is Green. The outside of the green one was painted blue in 2020. Not sure why, but I think that it makes the slide look a lot better.
They are replacing it with the Legend of Luna show. I think that this is a good idea because the clock towers are getting old and worn out and because the Legend of Luna is a new show that they want every guest to see, not just the guests that come to the new locations going forward.
Still waiting for our location in Niagara Falls to reopen because of the pandemic - because our government seems to take COVID-19 more seriously, unlike Texas.. where numbers are out of control. Hopefully with the vaccine arriving, hoping to return in the spring (we're closed til March, similar to Fitchburg, as they've chosen to wait it out). And the new Great Wolf Kids character costumes (except for Sammy) are awful. They're so bad, Niagara Falls and Poconos actually kept some of the old costumes (as of last check).

Well, the suits shown in the video are gone - GWL has changed them over to the Great Wolf Pack designs chain-wide (including Niagara Falls).
