Maybe it's because of their military service (and Koreas antigay culture in general) they have to hide it. Gays in the korean military isn't the best thing. They are risking their lives. There are probably plenty of homophobics in their military that would gladly abuse them...
What I love about them is that they are so obviously in love with each other, even after being together for years, you can see how their love has grown though, for sure, the soft looks, the proud smiles when either of them does anything, supporting/defending each other, the subtle touches (that only couples do) like knees touching when sat down, feet together, stroking instead of just holding, i.e. different to how you would put your hands on anyone else in a friendly manner. I am so proud of them, staying strong together even though it must be so difficult for them, they need our support.
