Diamond Dotz Finish and a New Start! Spartan Symbol and Woman in Gold

- Hi, diamond painting friends! Today I'm stopping in to share my second finish of 2021 - the amazingly sparkly Spartan Symbol from Diamond Dotz - along with unboxing an incredible new start called Woman in Gold! I'll give you my final thoughts on Spartan Symbol, and we'll take a tour of Woman in Gold and all its special drill awesomeness! (Huge thanks to Diamond Dotz for sending Woman in Gold along for review!)

Spartan Symbol is a 15-color intermediate round drill partial kit, and I LOVED the sparkle on this one. This might have been one of the most underrated canvases in my stash!
Woman in Gold is - well, I'm truly speechless. She is sure to be a masterpiece in the truest sense.

OMG! Im speechless. If static is a problem try and place your diamonds in the freezer for a short while. It helps a great lot. Thanks for sharing x

This kit does look like it is going to be so much fun. I've never done a canvas with special drills. It is very tempting.

I got that woman in gold and I can’t wait to start on it. I’m finishing “summer” by Mucha right now and she’s almost finished.
She’s going to be gorgeous! 😍 I love Diamond Dotz and their serious sparkle. I’ve always been impressed with the small amount of trash, and my only complaint is the static. Takes a lot of patience, dryer sheets, and swearing to kit up 😄 but the end result is worth it!

Well you know how I feel about this diamond painting! I would do it over and over again. It’s big but not at all tedious! Watch out for those drills! They will bounce everywhere! Rub yourself and everything else down with dryer sheets before you attempt to use them!!! I find putting dryer sheets in with the drills unopened helps! You will love this painting- I absolutely know it!
OMG - thanks for the warning! I might have to kit this up little by little to avoid frustration. I am excited about the end result though!!

Thanks for listing what the music is on your videos. I frequently want to know what music is playing, but most creators I watch don't list it. Love your Spartan and the new kit looks interesting also.
No problem! I try to remember those artists too when I can. When possible I try to pick music from the same time period as the art - maybe my favorite part of the editing! 😀

This is excellent timing. My friend gifted me the Diamond Dotz Klimt "The Kiss" canvas. I of course was one of the eight million college students to have that print on my wall. I love the painting and I love the drills, but I'm so torn about it being a partial. I just really don't like the way they look most of the time. I guess I'll check out the finished painting on Dazzle Drillers channel. But of course, now that I see yours I want to do it. LOL. I'm so easily influenced. Fine art is my favorite too. I'm almost thinking I'll do it and if I really don't like the canvas part that doesn't have drills I can get some glue and try to figure out the drill field myself. Hmmm.
That could be so much fun, Tracey! I bet you're artsy enough to make that work. Dotz Stick is my new go-to for everything, and the background on that one is fairly monochromatic isn't it? I hear you on being influence-able. (Is that a word?) I have to limit my RUclips viewing for that reason, and I still have a closet full of canvases!
Love the Klimt canvas, it looks like a blast. Believe it or not, Boreas was my canvas with the static drills from ________. I wanted to snap my own neck, dryer sheets and I even tried putting them in the freezer. So worth it in the end though. I got my new Waterhouse canvas yesterday and I’m in love with it.
Wow, that's crazy!! The static issue is such a nightmare!! Guess what - Robyn totally surprised me with that Waterhouse canvas. It came in the mail a few days back, and I had NO idea it was in the works, much less coming to my door. I am soooo excited!!!

Oh No! My very young nephew might just love the Spartan. He is into this kind of stuff. Something about Dragon Training lol which I don't even understand. I'll check if this fits in with his decor, for this young man.The Woman in Gold is really amazing. Whenever I get a new kit - something happens to me. I become someone much younger. I am behind on your videos - I got caught up in reality during January, and need to catch up........ Confirmed Spartan will go well for this little guy - all ordered.

Beautiful finish on the helmet partial👍🏼it looks so sparkly. Yes, the static is REAL in DD drills. Very frustrating. Every kit I have done of theirs took me forever to kit up. Van Gogh’s Irises was quite challenging kitting up. Do you think it’s the packaging? Woman in Gold is going to be stunning!!! And a blast to do with all the special drills. Is that a new design for DD? 😎

The only time I had static was when I kitted up in Colorado. In Southern California not a problem.
Awe thanks, Jill! My hands usually look atrocious and dry, but this must have been a good day. Bwahahaha!! I think the static issue must be their resin interacting with their packaging because their freestyle drills aren't nearly as bad. I think the Woman in Gold came out a bit more than a year ago, but it keeps selling out - for obvious reasons!
That is very interesting! Humidity perhaps? I live in a very dry climate too, so that makes sense!

What companies do you recommend for fine art diamond paintings?
Hi, Helen! Ever Moment customs have been my go-to for that purpose for a long time, since everything created before 1924 is public domain and free to use so no problem to order from Ali sellers. :) If you want to support companies based outside China, Royal Diamond Painting does customs, along with Treasure Studios Art. A Homespun Hobby carries quite a few fine art pieces, and Sally has poured glue. (I haven't ordered from her so can't review the quality yet - soon though!) Distracted by Diamonds has a few as well, but her stock isn't quite as consistent.

Hi, Jittra!! There are some links in the description you might try. The Woman in Gold sells out fast, but I would imagine more stock is coming. 🥰
I don’t like sports either, my husband used to drag me to football games and ignore me while he and his buddy talked about nothing but sports, I quit going to games and did more art, problem solved.
