It's nice to see someone finally have as an emotional reaction to Robin's rounds as I did. I cried during this and his finals rounds. Too beautiful and masterful!

bizkit's mix was bad. frequencies were not hitting. It was clear live
Bizkit first round was sloppy, off pitch, the harmonies and the singing too, and the mix was bad. Robin's rounds were impecable. It was a clear win for Robin, for sure. I saw Robin like a true artist, with beatuful compositions, bizkit was like another looper trying to do drops. He was good, but Robin was on another level for me.

@@alvaritoelflacoyou can say that if bizkit's round 1 on MK2. Its the same with syjo's round 1 against mistix. Its melodical yet there's plenty of drops. Cant deny bizkit is such an amazing looper with so much varieties. He taking risk cuz mk1 mix is kinda messy sometimes but his first round is good even inkie suprised by it
Robin is something else the clarity damn....he make's a whole song on the stage with proper verses, chorus, drops ,risers ,buildup, breakdowns with..such clarity

Bizkit's first round was NOT perfect. He tried to battle Robin using Robin's style and it did not land. There were a lot of flat notes whereas Robin's notes were perfect.
Also I personally believe that Bizkit wanted Robin to win this time around. But that is just a theory...

Robin, why? Much cleaner, better mix, made no mistakes, sings much better, more emotion also. Bizkit first round was insanely good if he executed it much better. 2nd round of bizkit had issues as well and was a bit too repetitive with just added fx and drops after fx and drops.

It does because the harmonies / chords Bizkit made with his voice, a crucial part of the track I might add, were off pitch as well. Singing in itself may not be a crucial element of beatbox loopstation battle but the voice is. @@patriczi5824

For me bizkit takes the W here (1st round to bizkit, 2nd round to robin). Despite bizkit’s style originality and hype in the drops and robin’s heavenly singing and musicality, bizkit beat robin more in the first round than robin beat bizkit in the 2nd round. Robin took too long to build the first round and was slightly under bizkit in terms of catchyness imo. In the second round, robin stepped up with the perfect structure with the silent recording, touching lyrics, and great melody while bizkit had minor mistakes in the late drops. But i digress and respect the judges’ decision as it was indeed close. My fav battle of GBB23, big ups to Robin and Bizkit!!!!🔥🔥🙌

I'd agree if bizkit actually sung in the correct pitch, it was almost unbearable to listen to
For people saying clear win to Bizkit, please understand that his first round was literally a failure, and he said that himself. He was so insanely off pitch more than 8 times. The song is so beautiful when done right but he just messed it up entirely here. Also his mix is terrible, and it’s partly due to the sounds he uses being so loud while other things get drowned out. Robin had perfect rounds, literally 0 mistakes. It’s the same thing as AVH vs Brez, AVH won because he was way cleaner

I much prefer Bizkit's style, but neither of his rounds hit me very hard, whereas Robin's rounds hit me like a truck
What I feel also get's overlooked is just overall versatility that Bizkit has and for the people saying he's just using effects after effects must understand that it's a loopstation battle and if you're using your loopstation to it's maximum potential then it's a plus point for sure and Bizkit demonstrates that as well.
My vote is for Bizkit here but Robin is no less either, I could listen to his rounds all day on repeat easily.
No one overlooks it. You can make a round as complicated as possible and you’ll still lose if you have a terrible mix. Kristof beat Robin in KBB because of Robins mixing problems. Robin fixed that here. Bizkit won 2021 because his rounds were very strong and live they hit well, people overlooked the mixing a lot. But it’s 2023, mix matters a lot. AVH won against Brez because of his insane mix
@@Neon1880 Can't say you're wrong, mix is very important for sure. All I wanted to say was Bizkit showed a lot more variety when it came to style choices/genres during the whole tournament where as a lot of loopers stuck with their tried and tested styles (which again isn't wrong they have just mastered it well).
