So my question is can you fix the cylinder on its own? Or is the engine done after a failed compression test? Let me know please. Mine has a misfire on cylinder 6 and if changed spark plugs, injector on 6, evap canister, fuel filter, and still rough idle & codes p0174 & p0300. Maybe it’s an 02 sensor …but I was doing the parts cannon & spending too much time guessing. So it’s at the mechanics now
Start with a compression check...make sure the cylinder is healthy and the miss isn't mechanical..if it's just that cylinder low on compression most likely it's the heads are wore out ..valve job and a resurface and it it'll be good ..if it's rings or worn or damaged piston or cylinder then a replacement engine is best
