Torsie, not sure if you are aware of the history of Kara and Goo Hara, close friend with Sulli and IU during her MC days at Inkigayo, when Nicole also cohosted. They were all good friends. Your comparison between Kara with SHINee is more apt than you know because they also lost one of the members. I might be wrong, but I thought it was a bittersweet return for all of them after 7 years, it is something not said, but all are very aware. I believe it was well known it was one of Hara's wishes they all go back together again after the initial split. It is, therefore, perhaps extra meaningful that IU decide to put together that edit of Mamamia with Mister, to include all members (2 of them weren't in Kara at the time of Mamamia) are represented in the song regardless of their era with Kara. The thing that really touched me is if you listen to this version of Mamamia, it is not any less intricate to the amount of effort she did for SHINee's Sherlock, there were so many details in the band arrangement, rehearsals, backing choruses, edits, preproduction, postproduction. It is like a big project for just 4 minutes in a youtube show. Really her sincerity, passion and love for her friends/fellow artist are really commendable.

Nicole and IU shared a lot of time when they did the variety show 'Heroes'. It had only been 2 years since IU's debut when she started it all. Then Nicole and Hara shared the stage at Inkigayo as MC. The rest is history, what if they have had that connection for many years and even though they don't see each other, they still remember that they have it.
Pd: It's a good idea that you can see "Heroes", there you can see our star in full bloom, it's adorable.

the kara medley brought me back to my early to mid teen years ive missed them so much!! jiyoung and nicole both left the group in 2014 iirc and youngji was brought in to the group in 2015/2016ish it’s so nice to see youngji get along so well with both of them!! i miss hara so much too she would’ve absolutely fit this concept so so well. the end of the when i move mv with 6 mics was so heartbreaking and so sweet😢 love that we get both kara and god on palette to end the year on!! both such sweet episodes❤

Fun fact, just bc i know you for being probably the biggest shawol in the yt reaction community, but Kibum and Nicole used to be besties back in the day! for what we've seen in recent years they're still close, tho maybe not as much as they used to. But it's still nice to see such a long running friendship between 2nd gen artists.

I still love IU versions Blueming. Because she's high nose is perfect and no one can exceed it. you can see when sing the song, they look painful to them in the high nose part.
