First , you need to learn how to properly use the band saw safely Bring the upper blade guide to and In inch above what you intend to cut Next make and use a sled to safely hold round stock while making cross cuts so that stock doesn't roll and pull your fingers into the saw Finally , learn to make relief cuts when making multiple curves or tight angles so blade doesn't twist or bind ,stalling the blade or even breaking the blade

I use only natural beeswax which is mixed with a small amount of mineral oil. It is a natural impregnation! You can coat plates or this is how I coated my knife! Thank you very much. Watch more of my videos. It feels good to me!

Isn't the band saw vertical? The table saw has the blade on the bottom to raise an inch above what is being cut. Do you have any videos?
