Well, that was a ridiculous act of gatekeeping. You are asking a Greek person - why the Greek Oligarchs aka the "British" Empire want a war with Russia. And he led you through the Mainstream garden path. I don't know if google will let this comment through, it usually deletes them, but if you happen to read it - the history of Europe did not start 200 years ago.

@@ssorcnivek One of the earlier anti-Russian psy-ops. Russians are still angry with the UK for attacking, detaining and eventually disappearing two of their citizens, one of whom was on a visit from Russia and one of whom was making enquiries about being pardoned for his crimes so he could to return to Russia.
As usual, the UK media disgraced themselves by uncritically echoing the government's line through all the twists and turns necessary to obfuscate the glaring inconsistencies in the case against Russia. There is a guy, Rob Slane, who was a neighbour of the Skripals in Salisbury and who had a blog called _the Blogmire._ He gave it over to discussion of the case by people all over the world. He discouraged attempts to work out what _did_ happen, but allowed analysis of all the inconsistencies that proved that the official line was a pack of lies. Some of the official backtracking was in response to what appeared at the Blogmire and analysis by similar honourable people. But the last time I looked, they still had well over a hundred items that disproved the official anti-Russian narrative.
By the way, did you know that the only Soviet manufacturing facility for producing Novichok was in one of the Central Asian republics, _and was handed over to the USA for decontamination and disassembly?_ Or that there is proof that Novichok was stored at Britain's Porton Down biological and chemical warfare facility, _which is just outside Salisbury?_

Binary ideological belief in the Clash of Civilisations thesis & of "Democracy vs the Axis of Autocracy". A belief in historical determinism that Western values will triumph. She had to come home because of the start of the WW1. And she wrote a peace named "Letters from Norway" in which she writes about people, traditions, towns etc. But one of her biggest impressions was the strong Rusofoby in the country that she couldn't explain.

Ben "Simple Jack" Hodges is with his throw ATACMS at Sevastopol plan. However, interestingly, that was the war that the poem "The Charge of the Light Brigade" comes from. That was the war that exposed the British nobility that ran that war as corrupt, out of touch and incompetent. It was a whole bruhaha that even create a Parliament investigation as the newspapers ate some people at fault alive.

@@vivalasvegas1999 Britain didn't gain any Crimean territory in the war and there were actually 3 empires going against Russia; Britain, France and the Ottomans. Overall the war was a big shitshow for everyone. The Treaty of Paris, which was heavily pushed by France since they had lost far more troops than Britain, eventually forced Russia to cede a number of outlying things back to the Ottomans. It was considered a defeat for Russia in that their military took a lot of losses and was weakened enough to not project power into Europe proper for the next couple decades and they had to cede away a few things. But in the end the Russian's took the lesson and modernized their military, while France and Britain just continue to get stupider every single decade for 150 years.
Again the whole thing echoes the current situation ... Turkiye shot down a Russian plane not too long ago ... and Britain and France backstabbed the Ottoman's later on in WW1.

Absolutely, the USA wanted (and is succeeding) to knock out Europe as an economic competitor. They were concerned that together with Russia's resource's that they would become a major powerhouse. That could not be tolerated by the US...the propaganda machine went into full swing.

Bottom line is nobody wants to use nuclear weapons, we should appreciate that Putin doesnt just push the button. He is giviing us a chance to heed his warning. He indeed will push the button when the Russians feel that no other method of deterence is or will work. Its the final solution. Is it just me that thinks that or is it obvious.
