I enjoyed this video very much in part because my best friend (and also a photographer) is a New York Cuban Puerto Rican like myself named Michael Lopez. What a coincidence. Wonderful to learn about your evolution. I started my journey in photography as a teenager back in 1971. The Q2M has become my favorite all time camera. The original M Monochrom was my constant companion before that. The M10 Monochrom may be in the cards for me. During my analogue days, I went through a few incarnations of M film cameras. Thank you for sharing your journey. 🙏🏽
Joshes Michael Loper,I love your work.I make photos since 7 years old.90% of my photos are film b&w,80% on Kodak tri-x,20% on Kodak tmax p (from pushed)3200.I am an old school too.Keep working and make great photographs.
Thanks for sharing another great chat. It's great to be reminded why I was originally shooting... A bit lost in working for an income but wish the hosts would stop asking for settings.. It's so absurd to ask for and to expect a photographer to have to give a formula..
Likewise. I've been considering a Q (and now Q2) for years. As you suspect, I'd prefer the Monochrom because of it's improved quality, especially at high ISO, but less versatile for my professional work. If only someone would give me $12000...
Absolutely adore these strong images! The graphic quality superb, JML sees light, our tool of writing! I;m gonna push the envelope !

The Q shots doesnt even come close to the M shots, which are absolutely fantastic!

@@josephmichaellopez4420 excellent! I really appreciate it!
I wonder what strength that orange filter was .
im sorry some of this image is abit over process like 40:28
but the emotion captured and the feeling captured is bar none - could it have been less processed... maybe, still, heck of an image! haha
Long and not a lot of substance
Just like you then.
Totally agree. Niece images but nothing but fluff for descriptions
Exactly. Too boring and nothing extraordinary
Outstanding film photography and absolute nonsense to me the talk about the energy.
