I appreciate all of your videos. We lived 5 years on a Benetau so I can relate to all the difficulties of living on a boat. It really is worth all the difficulties.
I hope you know how much you are loved! You’re absolutely amazing! You remind me of when I was like 5 or 6 grade. Dad took us to a hole in the wall between Destin and Panama City! Best seafood I’ve ever had. But, the thing that stole my sole was sailing. We went to the docks and saw the most amazing sailboat you’ve ever seen. There were two drop dead girls loading the boat! My father rest his sole asked what was going on. The boat owner said I’m ….that is my daughter and her friend….there on break so we are all going to sail some people around!
So glad you have made this decision- you can always charter later if you want. Circumnavigation will be amazing- you’ll see the world. And so will Mako the Wonderkat- we will follow- I’ve been with you since you started with 600 viewers and so happy for your success. Take us around the world Lauren. Big Hugs ❤

I know you can do it! I've seen so many of your videos where if there is a problem, you just dive into it and fix it! I'm so impressed to see you do all of the things you do on that boat! I would bet that there on not very many (myself included) that are capable of doing half of what you do on that boat!

Dear Lauren, I have been watching your channel since you have had only a couple of thousand followers. In my humble opinion, it is truly amazing how dedicated you have been pursuing your dream and how far you have come, despite all the obstacles in your way. I think it's natural to adjust your course to find a balanced and comfortable path to your destiny. Don't be sad that you are giving up charter, it is your duty to take care of yourself, your mental and physical well-being. You are free to pick it up again anytime. All will be good.😊
I’m glad you were able to pick RUclips! Do be safe as a solo sailor. Putting out delayed videos is probably a good idea. Also, consider tethering and other safety measures on crossings. Mako seems awesome but I doubt he can pull off a man overboard situation.
Don't become upset you have done so much and now have so much experience, be proud you'll make it in life whatever you choose - -- Go Girl you've got it. Positive attitude

Definitely do the hydro-vane. Your videos show a tremendous work ethic and enthusiasm for teaching other how to tackle problems and find solutions. Makes sense to step back from chartering to focus on the bigger goals. Crossing the pacific is an excellent goal. It will be fun to watch that.

We are crossing the Atlantic next week to Azores, Cabo Verde and Ilhabela, Brazil, having done the South Pacific we never called in South America, hoping you find a route, perhaps across Panama. There are no hurricanes in the eastern Pacific because of the cold current running up the coast from Antartica. It is your choice, and Mako's.
Wish I could do the same thing for at least 3 months - say goodbye to work and hello to many wonderful people, cultures and beautiful waters

Hi Lauren. I've been following you for a long time now and you are an inspiration to me. I got cancer two years ago and I'm still fairly young. However, the outlook for me isn't good. I wanted to buy a sailboat myself and go see the world when I retired at 55. That will never happen now, so I'm living my travel life through you. When I'm struggling and dealing with treatments, pain and suffering...I watch your videos and I feel refreshed and ready to fight another week or two. So thanks for being a lamp unto my feet.

I've only been following your stories on RUclips for a short time. The first 30 videos have already been seen in a short time. I am very impressed by your self-reliance, in which you yourself tinkered with the technology of an engine or the generator of the wind energy. A great idea to introduce people to the ocean and the environment. It fits in beautifully with your education and also brings in income.

I can totally relate! I recently quit my guided tour company after 25 years! After all that time I can say that I am still grateful for my patrons, I met amazing people, made a lot of friends that I miss but I love my new found freedom and semi normal life on my new(to me) 38 foot Morgan! Best to you on your next adventure!
