My theory is he chose #2 and then finished the episode and then the producers said "just for fun, lets roll it back and have you chose #1." #1 then rejects him and he's free to be with #2. I refuse to believe he chose #1.
The way reality TV shows work and how producers influence decisions made on the show for ratings, I'd 100% believe this.

I think I've figured out how to say it: These early episodes are more "talk-show" than "game-show" in a weird way, but then they swung the balance the other way and the show really came together.
This episode really felt like off-brand Baggage.

That was the biggest upset since Mariano blew the lead in Game 7 of the '01 World Series! And Jimmy and Jake react the same to this as they did to that: "I'm not into any of this."

Yeh, I think his weight equation only works if the guy is a certain weight. If you're a 150 lb guy, then this guy's equation is ridiculous. Also, the upper end of his range eliminates most tall girls; that's insanity!

My theory for the end is that Rat Lady saw that he was eyeing Foot Monster the whole episode, so when he chose her, she didn't even want to be with him. And that's why she made such a big deal of the 8 arrests as a teen, so it would seem like that was her issue, but really it was that his lack of interest in her turned her off

This is a bad episode, i have bad taste. I mean yeah. Hella awkward. But when isn’t it. Needed the exit lines. Any of the polish. Ny 30’s Jerry is like he’s doing a Nicole vaudeville impression. 10/10 as always bois. No matter the episode quality. Y’all make a good time out of it.

My understanding was that he was saying she has to be between half his weight and three quarters of his weight.
So if he weighs 200lbs he'd only date between 100 and 150 lbs, which honestly isn't unreasonable all things considered, but saying it on national tv and calling it his "science" to girl's weights was a little sus
She won 🏆. Guy was trash, better to be sent off at the last moment for max screen time.
i think he was saying, he has a rule where he doesnt date women 1/3rd his weight(already this is weird and makes little sense but follow me here), and since she was overweight, that wasnt a big deal to him because shes probably still like 180 or something idk, so hes willing to look past it.

Im guessing each girl's set of baggage was used as a feeling out process to audiences. Aleah's baggage was that her feet look normal, she is healthy, and is bisexual. The 2 other girls had only baggage that would be dealbreakers.
