Conan might have been the best Simpsons writer. Listen to the people that wrote with him and they all praise him. You know how when two extremely talented/smart/funny (whatever you call it) people come together somehow in life, great stuff happens. Conan's show was an instance of this for me.
extramedium1 conan actually got extremely famous when andy left the show in 2000, and by far, the best version of conan o'brien was between 2000 and 2009, I honestly think conan would have still have the tonight show if he was doing alone, not to disrespect andy, but when conan was alone, he was on fire .
Without Andy, Conan would not have been able to survive by himself when he first started. Andy was laid back and hilarious, and Conan was a bit nervous and jittery. I think Andy helped Conan ease up and that’s why Conan was able to get better.
3:34 classic sync timing they did one of these way way back in the day that was ultimate dynamic-duo comedic brilliance....it was done after Andy left late night...check it out...its on YT
As mentioned here, I also love the cameo work he's done in other shows. My all-time favorite is his one episode on Monk. Another fave where he is a semi-recurring character is in The New Adventures of Old Christine. He plays a very cringey guy but is SO FUNNY that I can enjoy it. 😂 (I'm one of those people who can't take cringe humor sometimes because it just makes me CRINGE too much even while appreciating the joke(s)! 😁)
I love that they're technically wearing one suit between them ...
Lol!
What an amazing observation, really
?
Hah, that's true. Andy's going for the jacket and t-shirt look, while Conan has the dress shirt and tie/dirty jacket combo.
Very strange.
Damn didn't even noticed that.
Can't believe Conan's still wearing that brown jacket. It's gotta be at least 3 centuries old
CottonCube it's bomber jacket, the older the better. Takes a long as time to break them. Ww2 pilots would sleep in them to break them in faster.
CottonCube It's made from mammoths skin that Larry King slayed 10 000 bc and then gave to Conan as a gift.
Apina 😂😂😂
All I could hear while watching was Kevin Hart's voice "Conan, is that the same jacket?!"
better to buy a good quality jacket every 30 years than to buy cheap shit every 2 years

That had me rolling

Of course he did. Andy Richter controls the universe.
In fairness, it was celebrity jeopardy, which Andy himself said is basically jeopardy for idiots.

He know Conan’s favorite Simpsons episode but not the year he got married 😂😂😂😂. Andy remembering all the important things
It is one of the most famous episode of all time and he only wrote a handful of episodes. I would say it was a educated guest.
In my opinion the Simpsons is WAY more important 😆

They see each other at work all the time and Conan's his boss, I think it makes it difficult for them to be too close.
I think the reason they don't see each other off work is that, they work such long hour, they already become part of each other's life during work
Same with Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman from Mythbusters.
Well, it's all good as long as they're together.

Conan’s face when he states Andy’s major in college
And Andy’s reaction is glorious
I noticed the odd disdain in his voice when he said "oh...film" 😂
