very interesting, love your way of improving on that fantastic little instrument Brendan. I'll sure stay tuned, thanks, Dan
Very interesting and fun to watch. Thanks Chris
totally awesome.thanks JP
Excellent session
Amazing showcase of Brendan's great contribution and inspiration to the modern Harmonica! Thank you JP for putting this up
My fave carry around harmonica is the Lee Oskar A, because guitars are tuned in E, which is cross harp to the A. Also use the Natural Minor keys, and I like the Dorian scale. Lately have been recording as backup to my friend's poetry, working on his Pandemic series. Free form, super fun and creative.
Fantastic! I love the natural minor keys as well. And I love playing in 3rd position on regular harps as well (dorian.) Rock on!
Amazing harmonica master
really interesting! Thank for that great tutorial!
Vous êtes splendide ! Bravo!
You are very informative. 🤔👍
Fabulous!
A whole new universe!
Where can I get that thumb ring?
What Is best train whistle sound special tuning?
Hi Brendan I really need your help IAM trying to tune my harmonica I bought a set of blues harmonica set hohner they are very hard to bend at times. I have been blowing them to pieces. Can you help . We cannot but a harmonica tool kit in New Zealand it has t come from overseas much appreciated thank you.
I love how you play Irish music with harmos. Would you recommend any Lee Oskar harp which tuning could fit for a beginner in Irish music ?
If you can find someone to tune the 3 blow up one step (on a key of C harmonica, up from G to A), you have a Paddy Richter tuning (Brendan mentions this tuning). That's a popular tuning for Irish tunes. You'd want harmonicas in the keys of G and D.
What's your opinion on the augmented tuning (all 12 notes in order on 3 holes) for chromatic harmonica? I'm really fascinated by the idea and I'm trying to find a harmonica without paying a fortune. And idea? :)
I'm a big fan of the Paddy Richter tuning, but I find the others too confusing.
Crazy like a fox
☺👉👍✔
So draw 6 is now G on a C harp and will bend? And the B draw 7 bends?
-6 is and A on C harp - yes it will bend. -7 and -8 will not bend. But BLOW 8,9,10 bend
@@Harmonicacom that’s just like a normal harp
if you want to play better harp... learn to sing, hum and whistle. I learned to get rid of a morning frog in my throut by the doc. My speaking has become better as a result as well. those muscles in the throut make all the difference....i can bend a note to hell and back and hold it, shift it and ease it back.
good job on the video...
Cool!
@@Harmonicacom yes sir ..learning to sing ...I blow a mean harp today need to get better! tht why i watch the vids...
