That is correct. I once saw a documentary on Dark Matter and Energy. I'll tell you how they described it there. Dark Matter can not be seen. You can't see it with the naked eye, nor with a telescope. However, what can be seen, is how light reacts to it. We all know that matter can bend light. So, basicly, if you see light being bent by nothing, the only logical explenation is some sort of matter which can not be seen. (Dark Energy in the next post)
Quran mentioned this god said someday the universe will be together like the first Time when it's created 🙂❤ also Quran mentioned the big bang and the smoke after the big bang also Quran mentioned the expanding of the universe 👋
I believe that dark matter and dark energy are the building blocks to the universe, because they are absolutely nothing at all. Darkness is the key to light (energy) and light is the key to darkness. Without darkness there could be no light visa versa. When I was younger and learned about dark energy, I couldn't wrap my head around it, but I looked across the room at a bottle of hand sanitizer when I noticed all of those tiny bubbles inside the clear gel. Those same bubbles were an outcome of an event or action. They could have come from the shaking in shipping, maybe from the gel being deposited into the bottle, or maybe even me shaking it. Whatever it was, it was there and was now in existence. It didn't change the state of the gel or make it deplete any faster; it was just pointless scars of an old pointless action. They float in the middle of something else being held together by the gel while all was bound inside of that bottle. believe the same principles apply to dark matter and dark energy along with the rest of the universe. In a universe filled with absolutely nothing, we are the the little bit of something. Maybe it's because two universes clashed at one point, or maybe we are the universe that is "just this way" in the endless amounts of universes in the infinite playground of space. Only time will tell, i guess.
What if... the universe is expanding at an increasing rate due to "momentum" from the big bang (as a result of two older universes colliding together to form a new one that we exist in), and just like the bubble effect, the giant bubble will pull itself apart into two? What if the universe is expanding due to an "anti-universe" nearby causing an attraction on our own (opposites attract theory)? I love this whole "thinking outside of the box" thing! ^_^
I've heard it will take about a googol years for all the black holes to extinguish, then there is still some remnant radiation floating around for who knows how long after that. By that time, it's likely that a new universe will spontaneously erupt out of nothingness due to the laws of probability.

For all you geniuses out there, these quotes were written by uneducated human hands, thousands of years ago, inspired by the creator of the universe. I'm a little confused. Is this video trying to say that there will be an actual end of the universe and all life? My next question is this video also saying that if mankind existed at that time we would b so advance that we could escape that fate and have a second life or an afterlife? We also are dealing with an energy source of an unknown origin, accordingly to this video. When I watch videos on this particular channel it seems that science is trying to say that all of creation is a designed for a reason and isn't as random as it seems.
well if u wanna interpret the video like that go for it but pretty much the universe is guaranteed to end because of entropy and at that point michio says we might have the technology to leave this universe this idea comes from the well supported string theory
There is a reason behind all this design so if you're interested then my video will answer your question, here is the link: Why are We Here? Our Contract with God & illusion of Time. Allah Answers Atheists Q2
No reason at all, Michio wants to say that : eventually we can master the ways of universe and time-space so we can avoid the end of universe as a whole human civilization, not personally. The universe still has a lot of time to die, we do not need to concern now, but you and me never see that ending since we are mortal and when we die, we will just be removed from existence, thats all, no afterlife. There is a salvation for human civilization but there is no salvation for a single person, you and me. Although one day humans can find immortality, who knows.
Aribeth De Tylmarande There is indeed a lot of time for the universe, however, remember that time is an illusion so for you and me the moment we die we will face Judgment day then immediately after that some will be saved and some will be left behind in the next cycle of the universe. There will be no escaping from this universe or the next one. My goal is to remind you of your contract with your creator and I did. My other videos are available for you if you decide to know WHY you're here and I already posted the link for one of them.
helasmoh Well the good thing is I was raised as a Muslim, so I know what you are talking about, but this video is science and it explains scientific concepts, it is not related with your beliefs or any other belief. Faith is faith, science is science, please do not try to match vague and mythical explanations of Quran with science. According to Quran, Adam is the first men and Eve was created from his rib. That does not sound scientific to me. Cheers.
"Why get up in the morning when the universe is gonna die? Well, my answer is, by that time we'll be able to fly off to another universe, so don't worry about it." That's the craziest thing i've ever heard.
1. Can black holes be used directly or indirectly as a form of energy? 2. How much potential energy can be captured? (I'm guessing its relative to the mass of the black hole...) 3. Can we "hold" the universe together, ie keep clusters of galaxies in place etc? (Or even clusters of clusters... etc) 4. Can it be sustained, the balance between mass and energy?
In a trillion years? We may not even live to the year 3000 with the way we're destroying ourselves and our environment. We just have to hope that the rate of technological progress far outpaces the rate of environmental degradation. Hopefully we don't kill ourselves with nuclear warfare first... But in the meantime, I'm just going to enjoy the wonderful gift that is your mind :)
Nomnso Okeke That would only apply to earthlings, 1000 years from now humans on other planets have more important things to worry about then what we do on earth
if we where type 3 or 4 civilization and we had the ability to replicate other matters, surly we could create our own stars. we know what makes them. sure it will probly be pretty hard but surly by the time the universe ends we can doit.
+LuNaTiqQc Dark Matter is actually.. matter like ordinary matter except it neither emits nor absorbs light, so it cannot been seen, but we know that it's out there because we can observe its gravitational effects on visible matter and on radiation. On the other hand, Dark Energy with extremely low density, is hypothesized to be that kind of energy that accelerates the expansion of the universe. We do not know exactly what they are, but they are different.
Humans will exist but not humans like you and I. We are still evolving remember, it's very likely we become more mechanical. That's already begun if i'm being honest. We could achieve almost anything with time...
"the end" is SO relative ....ultimately? OF COURSE there is no "end"....right? Might as well say absolutely TRUE ....infinite NOTHING can reliably refute this ....it will because? IT IS
The universe and reality as we know it is... a hologram - a reality made up with time and space for us to have experiences, no different then our beginning attempts in creating various realities to experience in video games. Yet, here we are in one attached with feelings, emotions, etc. Since science has no idea what the 95% of the universe is and only 4% is made up of atoms, the building blocks of you and I. Then what is holding that 4% together in vibration, frequency to actually....matter. Wouldn't it take a consciousness, a thought to hold it all together? A plan, a program...something. What determines or dictates that the 4% will create the universe, world, planet, house, car, human form....we live in? So can we theorize that dark matter and or dark energy is collective consciousness holding the entire universe together or creating the whole universe as we see it. Why wouldn't it be? We maybe continuing to create the same thing in this life - through a multiverse of various levels of existence for our consciousness. If we already have a world we live in, with so many things to do, why must we play video games to have multiple other experiences or entertainment? Is this going down the rabbits hole? I will end here.....
The explanation has been quantified well. It simply talks about the relative density of the universe .the implosion of universe can only be done by dark matter when density becomes -1 then space absorption takes place
90% of the people from the world are : " We don't know ! We must not struggle to find out ! God did everything God is the answer to everything! Let's fucking stay like pigs on the sofa and eat pizza".
What if, just what if, dark matter is a product of matter and antimatter coming into a contact, and dark energy is a byproduct or something like that. maybe its like this: 3% is atoms, 3% is antiatoms, 21,5% is dark matter, 71,5% is dark energy.
In a few more years, most rich countries will have enough missile defense shields to prevent extermination by nuclear weapons. I think our odds of survival look pretty good.
He said: "Universe started off", ok everything that has a beginning has a cause. So, whats the cause? He said: "It was made", ok, and everything that is made has a maker. So, it means there is a maker of this universe as well..
Huzaifa, Michio was using English. I am sure that you do not speak in exact meaning, but you use various synonyms, idioms, slang, abstractions, and a host of other forms of language in order to convey your ideas. If people spoke purely in exact, simple ideas, your argument would be logical. However, you are merely playing with words and that has no bearing on reality. Additionally, if you are basing your logical conclusion that there must be a "maker" of the entire universe on the context of some old bloke's single sentence, then you lack logic entirely.
But if there's no time then there's no causality because nothing is unstable. So, no creation(ality) so to speak, then the idea of a creator makes no sense, therefore irrelevant.
the logic behind the universe starting off, therefore it had a cause is based on the laws of causality, but the thing is we are taking about what happened before our universe and we have no evidence supporting the laws of causality existed then so that logic can't be assumed is true when we talk about this

man with no name In life there's 3 aspects, that define a person. There's two sides to those aspects, one of which we usually gravitate towards. 1st there's goals; whether they like to choose the first thing that's close, or seems good from the get go, then 'Invest' making it their dream come true. Or, 'Test' drive things... one dream is never quite perfect, so they get parts of it from others, changes, or updates. 2nd, When dealing with life: We 'Deny' things try to forgive, forget, & fill our lives with distraction, like it never happened. Or, 'Justify' things learning from & living with it. 3rd is home life, & family: There's 'Realist', that focuses on the 'Financial security of a (full time) career. Or, an 'Idealist', (full time) family life. Figure out which way the lean more towards should help.
Quran surah anbiya "Verily we have made (firstly) the heavens and the earth as one creation, and we have rip them usunder. And from water we have created every living thing. Will they not then believe?" "It is We who have created the heavens and earth with might, and it is We who are steadily expanding it" How can you deny this? Praise be to Allah the Lord of the universe.
That's pretty much accurate. The galaxies are moving in a certain way, and take a certain period of time to do so, that Dark matter and energy has to exist in order to explain this data.
What about the "Big Conjunction" The universe does not end by destroying itself, however, it ends by linking itself to another universe and in doing so ends the universe as it is to create a link of two universes within the multiverse. I find this most probably as you see two stars cannot become one, however, two star systems can link into a larger system, changing drastically both of their realities. I see the universe ending this way since as we observe it relates to other observations.
The big bang expanded the universe rapidly, then slowed down, and sped up again. Who knows how many times the change has happened, it may change pace multiple times later
Thanks to the people who think that it's a problem. Because through their works in improving our understanding of the universe, internet was born. And for that alone, I thank them forever.
why does school even matter. unless you put in 8 years in university and equip yourself with all the tools you need to continue your own education. work towards answering your own big questions, when everything in the physics books right now is out of date... I learned more on youtube than I have anywhere else. the internet is like an ultimate textbook. we should be teaching our students how to use the internet to teach themselves so they can work towards solving their own big questions.
I love science even thought I don't understand much of it. But I'm learning. I love the fact that science accepts "I don't know" compared to fixed beliefs that proclaims "I have all the answers." This coming from someone who used to be religious and questioned most things science.
5. Can we use perhaps 2 black holes orbiting around one another indirectly as a form of energy? 6. If we attain immortality, ai and perhaps eventually a marriage of the two, Does anyone think we may still want to create more life? or just constantly improve on ourselves? 7. If the galaxies themselves aren't moving and rather its the space growing between them making (or causing the illusion of) them moving, can we make the space flow around them without it affecting them?
yo michio my man, did u and ur friends think, that the red shift we are observing is not caused by the expending universe, but by the fact that our solar system is pulled closer to the center of our galaxy? i did some math here and there and if it was true, it should affect the observations in similar way to ur theory(dark energy). just letting u know, as u asked me 2. oh about that noble prize, feel free to contact me by the PM here on YT;) cheeers
Well, new theories (one is particular from Princeton University) suggest that time (or entropy) may flow backwards in different parts of the Universe, and another shows that light changes as it travels through space. Some stars seem to have the ability to turn heavy elements into light elements. The theory of a cyclic Universe implies that it may have no beginning or end. I think that we have some more learning to do.
I love your thoughts and theories, i’ve been watching it for a long time on the science channel on the history channel and I like what you have to say!
Dr. Michio Kaku is a very optimistic person about the improvements of Mankind. The question is not about progress in technology but progress in ethical issues. In 10,000 years of civilization we hardly have improved ethically. We came to this planet to destroy it and to destroy ourselves. So, how we can say we will be better human beings in the future if we do not improve ethically now?
there are 2 possibilities to move away from object: either objoect moves away from u (and thats the case of dark energy and "space expending itself"), or you move away from and object (in this case we would move away from other galaxies if we were pulled closer to the center of ours) - both situations would cause same visual effect on visable matter (like stars or galaxies) - the red shift
question though. if humanity can create super massive space stations that are self sustaining and can support life, like an artificial planet, could we survive the great rip or great cooling?
I'm in year 12 in Australia, and I'm studying physics hoping to continue with it in university. But my text books don't say the universe is expanding but slowing down or its made of atoms, they say it's speeding up due to dark energy and that about 4% universe if in conventional matter. The very same that you said.
When we look at the universe we got to forget the human way of thinking that everything must have beginning and end. We got to forget this. There could be no beginning or end for the universe. Beginning and end are absurd things when we consider universe, there can not be beginning or end. There is no such thing for the Universe. Because universe has no beginning or end therefore everything must recycle. The question for the scientist is how the universe recycles?
+Good boy the rooster So to resume it: the Universe has no beginning or end because there is no such thing for the Universe as beginning or end because it's all absurd and YOU want it to be like that. And madness must be so sweet, indeed.
The way my physics teacher explained it to me was that we charted our whole galaxy out and concluded that there is no where near enough gravity to keep the milky way galaxy from falling apart sending star systems flying every which way. There has to be some invisible, undetectable(dark matter and dark energy) force that we haven't discovered making the universe work the way it does.
Matter and energy had ended and with it space and time. Even AC existed only for the sake of the one last question that it had never answered from the time a half-drunken computer [technician] ten trillion years before had asked the question of a computer that was to AC far less than was a man to Man. All other questions had been answered, and until this last question was answered also, AC might not release his consciousness. All collected data had come to a final end. Nothing was left to be collected. But all collected data had yet to be completely correlated and put together in all possible relationships. A timeless interval was spent in doing that. And it came to pass that AC learned how to reverse the direction of entropy. But there was now no man to whom AC might give the answer of the last question. No matter. The answer -- by demonstration -- would take care of that, too. For another timeless interval, AC thought how best to do this. Carefully, AC organized the program. The consciousness of AC encompassed all of what had once been a Universe and brooded over what was now Chaos. Step by step, it must be done. And AC said, "LET THERE BE LIGHT!" And there was light -- Isaac Asimov
I was confortable in my lifetime with what was understood with the Universe. Now, it's like start over again with tougher exam questions? How do you 'bottle' gravity? Or halt the speed of light? Or run faster than universal clock time? It's like falling down the rabbit hole.
Boy, did he understate this fact. Then again there's nothing like taking a negative and making a positive out of it. Even if all the other positives want to stay looped in the dark to an conclusive end.
Think of it. Right now is early later is going to be different because We will know way more so we could find out how to live forever In maybe 26 years we could be robots so why be scared if it's possible we only need to research And test all this shit before we can find out how and do it

We will make our own stars and energy maeby
Big Freeze is only the end for life as we know it. Not for the matter, not for the universe.
PP BB the fck you saying, mass does exist at absolute 0,is the kinetic energy of the molecules that reaches 0 lol
I hope what he said about our future is true. His videos give me the different point of view in life. So interesting!!
There is a reason behind all this design so if you're interested then my video will answer your question, here is the link:
Why are We Here? Our Contract with God & illusion of Time. Allah Answers Atheists Q2
No reason at all, Michio wants to say that : eventually we can master the ways of universe and time-space so we can avoid the end of universe as a whole human civilization, not personally. The universe still has a lot of time to die, we do not need to concern now, but you and me never see that ending since we are mortal and when we die, we will just be removed from existence, thats all, no afterlife. There is a salvation for human civilization but there is no salvation for a single person, you and me. Although one day humans can find immortality, who knows.
Aribeth De Tylmarande
There is indeed a lot of time for the universe, however, remember that time is an illusion so for you and me the moment we die we will face Judgment day then immediately after that some will be saved and some will be left behind in the next cycle of the universe.
Cheers.
It’s said that the first 100 years of life are the hardest. I will focus on that for now.
A quote from Nibler of futurama "quickly everyone out of the universe!" he eats him self and disappears.
i love how they put what he says in the description.....great stuff guys!
"Why get up in the morning when the universe is gonna die? Well, my answer is, by that time we'll be able to fly off to another universe, so don't worry about it."
That's the craziest thing i've ever heard.
Oblivion or Eternal Life must be a tough choice for those self deemed as "educated".
well, somebody explain that 'mismatch'
1. Can black holes be used directly or indirectly as a form of energy?
2. How much potential energy can be captured?
(I'm guessing its relative to the mass of the black hole...)
3. Can we "hold" the universe together, ie keep clusters of galaxies in place etc?
(Or even clusters of clusters... etc)
Nanotechnology will revolutionize the world
Nomnso Okeke That would only apply to earthlings, 1000 years from now humans on other planets have more important things to worry about then what we do on earth
Lycurgus they lived so long because they were dumb and didn't have nukes to destroy themselves 😁😂
if we where type 3 or 4 civilization and we had the ability to replicate other matters, surly we could create our own stars. we know what makes them. sure it will probly be pretty hard but surly by the time the universe ends we can doit.

Why would you seperate Dark Matter and Dark Energy if you don't even know what it is.
Screw going to another universe. Why not go type 6 or 7 civilization and create one?
I think its funny that he thinks humans wont be extinct in the next million years.
+Corbin Chesley Why do you think that humans won't be around in the next million years?
Humans will exist but not humans like you and I. We are still evolving remember, it's very likely we become more mechanical. That's already begun if i'm being honest. We could achieve almost anything with time...
Just look at the news
+Moon Man yea unless we're wiped out, which isn't unlikely.
Ruby Honey the news of earth? In the future earths problems wont matter to space colonies on other planets
I think your theory makes some sense, for example, the double slit experiment shows that observing collapses matter.
Wow bro do you have any other thoughts on that lol
Veron Singh why ?
You can't prove it one way or another
Man those mushrooms must be good!
The explanation has been quantified well. It simply talks about the relative density of the universe .the implosion of universe can only be done by dark matter when density becomes -1 then space absorption takes place

Time was actually created with the Big bang , this is a concept in our minds. God is free of this. He as no begining or end
the logic behind the universe starting off, therefore it had a cause is based on the laws of causality, but the thing is we are taking about what happened before our universe and we have no evidence supporting the laws of causality existed then so that logic can't be assumed is true when we talk about this
So I have skin. Potatoes have skin. Therefore I am a potato.

Fun fact: the bible isn´t mentioned in the title of the video nor is it mentioned in the video itself but smartasses aaalways mentioned it - no,not the religious ppl,the atheists (obviously they are) do that. Fun fact part 2: Nearly all of them who mentioned the bible doesn´t know a crap of it. I assume it is just cool to mock christians even it is not a part of the term. man with no name In life there's 3 aspects, that define a person.

Michio should be the one to lead us into a tier 1 civilization.
I really didn't see any God up their I see only science ...I see things and I believe this is my way of seeing things in the whole universe
why does school even matter. unless you put in 8 years in university and equip yourself with all the tools you need to continue your own education. work towards answering your own big questions, when everything in the physics books right now is out of date... I learned more on youtube than I have anywhere else. the internet is like an ultimate textbook. we should be teaching our students how to use the internet to teach themselves so they can work towards solving their own big questions.
That end blew my mind. Awesome.
I love science even thought I don't understand much of it. But I'm learning.
I love the fact that science accepts "I don't know" compared to fixed beliefs that proclaims "I have all the answers."
This coming from someone who used to be religious and questioned most things science.
Don't say that. It could be true. Just let him hear about it.
Oh my, I am so lucky I have found Michio Kaku and his teachings. => Start loving science and even the whole Universe ^^
These videos are like a mini vacation after a long day's work.
What is outside of our universe & what is inside the singularity? These are what I would love to find out.
yo michio my man, did u and ur friends think, that the red shift we are observing is not caused by the expending universe, but by the fact that our solar system is pulled closer to the center of our galaxy? i did some math here and there and if it was true, it should affect the observations in similar way to ur theory(dark energy). just letting u know, as u asked me 2. oh about that noble prize, feel free to contact me by the PM here on YT;) cheeers
So, how we can say we will be better human beings in the future if we do not improve ethically now?
there are 2 possibilities to move away from object: either objoect moves away from u (and thats the case of dark energy and "space expending itself"), or you move away from and object (in this case we would move away from other galaxies if we were pulled closer to the center of ours) - both situations would cause same visual effect on visable matter (like stars or galaxies) - the red shift
question though. if humanity can create super massive space stations that are self sustaining and can support life, like an artificial planet, could we survive the great rip or great cooling?
past is dark energy and future is light energy... present depends on what er choose. thanks sir... for guiding 🙏🙏
+Good boy the rooster
So to resume it: the Universe has no beginning or end because there is no such thing for the Universe as beginning or end because it's all absurd and YOU want it to be like that. And madness must be so sweet, indeed.
It's gonna be big crunch , creating the big bang and completing the cycle
And AC said, "LET THERE BE LIGHT!"
And there was light --

I was confortable in my lifetime with what was understood with the Universe. Now, it's like start over again with tougher exam questions? How do you 'bottle' gravity? Or halt the speed of light? Or run faster than universal clock time? It's like falling down the rabbit hole.
Sometimes you need to think big, implementation takes care of itself.
But very strange in to think on lines of changing/shifting UNIVERSE!
Boy, did he understate this fact. Then again there's nothing like taking a negative and making a positive out of it. Even if all the other positives want to stay looped in the dark to an conclusive end.
Think of it. Right now is early later is going to be different because
We will know way more so we could find out how to live forever
In maybe 26 years we could be robots so why be scared if it's possible we only need to research
And test all this shit before we can find out how and do it
