One thing I've thought of is this:
If most of the universe is made out of unseen material/energy, then could there be a 2nd reality within out universe? Could _we_ be the real invisible universe, considering how much smaller we (things visible, light energy/matter) are?

That is correct. I once saw a documentary on Dark Matter and Energy. I'll tell you how they described it there.
Dark Matter can not be seen. You can't see it with the naked eye, nor with a telescope. However, what can be seen, is how light reacts to it. We all know that matter can bend light. So, basicly, if you see light being bent by nothing, the only logical explenation is some sort of matter which can not be seen. (Dark Energy in the next post)

I believe that dark matter and dark energy are the building blocks to the universe, because they are absolutely nothing at all. Darkness is the key to light (energy) and light is the key to darkness. Without darkness there could be no light visa versa. When I was younger and learned about dark energy, I couldn't wrap my head around it, but I looked across the room at a bottle of hand sanitizer when I noticed all of those tiny bubbles inside the clear gel. Those same bubbles were an outcome of an event or action. They could have come from the shaking in shipping, maybe from the gel being deposited into the bottle, or maybe even me shaking it. Whatever it was, it was there and was now in existence. It didn't change the state of the gel or make it deplete any faster; it was just pointless scars of an old pointless action. They float in the middle of something else being held together by the gel while all was bound inside of that bottle. believe the same principles apply to dark matter and dark energy along with the rest of the universe. In a universe filled with absolutely nothing, we are the the little bit of something. Maybe it's because two universes clashed at one point, or maybe we are the universe that is "just this way" in the endless amounts of universes in the infinite playground of space. Only time will tell, i guess.

  • @DpsBot
    @DpsBot 11 лет назад +1

What if... the universe is expanding at an increasing rate due to "momentum" from the big bang (as a result of two older universes colliding together to form a new one that we exist in), and just like the bubble effect, the giant bubble will pull itself apart into two? What if the universe is expanding due to an "anti-universe" nearby causing an attraction on our own (opposites attract theory)?
I love this whole "thinking outside of the box" thing! ^_^

I've heard it will take about a googol years for all the black holes to extinguish, then there is still some remnant radiation floating around for who knows how long after that. By that time, it's likely that a new universe will spontaneously erupt out of nothingness due to the laws of probability.

I'm a little confused. Is this video trying to say that there will be an actual end of the universe and all life? My next question is this video also saying that if mankind existed at that time we would b so advance that we could escape that fate and have a second life or an afterlife? We also are dealing with an energy source of an unknown origin, accordingly to this video. When I watch videos on this particular channel it seems that science is trying to say that all of creation is a designed for a reason and isn't as random as it seems.

No reason at all, Michio wants to say that : eventually we can master the ways of universe and time-space so we can avoid the end of universe as a whole human civilization, not personally. The universe still has a lot of time to die, we do not need to concern now, but you and me never see that ending since we are mortal and when we die, we will just be removed from existence, thats all, no afterlife. There is a salvation for human civilization but there is no salvation for a single person, you and me. Although one day humans can find immortality, who knows.

There is indeed a lot of time for the universe, however, remember that time is an illusion so for you and me the moment we die we will face Judgment day then immediately after that some will be saved and some will be left behind in the next cycle of the universe. There will be no escaping from this universe or the next one. My goal is to remind you of your contract with your creator and I did. My other videos are available for you if you decide to know WHY you're here and I already posted the link for one of them.

On the other hand, Dark Energy with extremely low density, is hypothesized to be that kind of energy that accelerates the expansion of the universe. Then what is holding that 4% together in vibration, frequency to actually....matter. Wouldn't it take a consciousness, a thought to hold it all together? A plan, a program...something. What determines or dictates that the 4% will create the universe, world, planet, house, car, human form....we live in? So can we theorize that dark matter and or dark energy is collective consciousness holding the entire universe together or creating the whole universe as we see it. Why wouldn't it be? We maybe continuing to create the same thing in this life - through a multiverse of various levels of existence for our consciousness. If we already have a world we live in, with so many things to do, why must we play video games to have multiple other experiences or entertainment? Is this going down the rabbits hole? I will end here.....

Huzaifa, Michio was using English. I am sure that you do not speak in exact meaning, but you use various synonyms, idioms, slang, abstractions, and a host of other forms of language in order to convey your ideas. If people spoke purely in exact, simple ideas, your argument would be logical. However, you are merely playing with words and that has no bearing on reality.
Additionally, if you are basing your logical conclusion that there must be a "maker" of the entire universe on the context of some old bloke's single sentence, then you lack logic entirely.

the logic behind the universe starting off, therefore it had a cause is based on the laws of causality, but the thing is we are taking about what happened before our universe and we have no evidence supporting the laws of causality existed then so that logic can't be assumed is true when we talk about this

man with no name In life there's 3 aspects, that define a person. There's two sides to those aspects, one of which we usually gravitate towards.
1st there's goals; whether they like to choose the first thing that's close, or seems good from the get go, then 'Invest' making it their dream come true. Or, 'Test' drive things... one dream is never quite perfect, so they get parts of it from others, changes, or updates.
2nd, When dealing with life: We 'Deny' things try to forgive, forget, & fill our lives with distraction, like it never happened. Or, 'Justify' things learning from & living with it.
3rd is home life, & family: There's 'Realist', that focuses on the 'Financial security of a (full time) career. Or, an 'Idealist', (full time) family life.
Figure out which way the lean more towards should help.

What about the "Big Conjunction" The universe does not end by destroying itself, however, it ends by linking itself to another universe and in doing so ends the universe as it is to create a link of two universes within the multiverse. I find this most probably as you see two stars cannot become one, however, two star systems can link into a larger system, changing drastically both of their realities. I see the universe ending this way since as we observe it relates to other observations.

    5. Can we use perhaps 2 black holes orbiting around one another indirectly as a form of energy?
    6. If we attain immortality, ai and perhaps eventually a marriage of the two, Does anyone think we may still want to create more life? or just constantly improve on ourselves?
    7. If the galaxies themselves aren't moving and rather its the space growing between them making (or causing the illusion of) them moving, can we make the space flow around them without it affecting them?

Well, new theories (one is particular from Princeton University) suggest that time (or entropy) may flow backwards in different parts of the Universe, and another shows that light changes as it travels through space. Some stars seem to have the ability to turn heavy elements into light elements. The theory of a cyclic Universe implies that it may have no beginning or end. I think that we have some more learning to do.

Dr. Michio Kaku is a very optimistic person about the improvements of Mankind. The question is not about progress in technology but progress in ethical issues. In 10,000 years of civilization we hardly have improved ethically. We came to this planet to destroy it and to destroy ourselves. So, how we can say we will be better human beings in the future if we do not improve ethically now?

  • @TheSara90

there are 2 possibilities to move away from object: either objoect moves away from u (and thats the case of dark energy and "space expending itself"), or you move away from and object (in this case we would move away from other galaxies if we were pulled closer to the center of ours) - both situations would cause same visual effect on visable matter (like stars or galaxies) - the red shift

When we look at the universe we got to forget the human way of thinking that everything must have beginning and end. We got to forget this. There could be no beginning or end for the universe. Beginning and end are absurd things when we consider universe, there can not be beginning or end. There is no such thing for the Universe. Because universe has no beginning or end therefore everything must recycle. The question for the scientist is how the universe recycles?

The way my physics teacher explained it to me was that we charted our whole galaxy out and concluded that there is no where near enough gravity to keep the milky way galaxy from falling apart sending star systems flying every which way. There has to be some invisible, undetectable(dark matter and dark energy) force that we haven't discovered making the universe work the way it does.

Matter and energy had ended and with it space and time. Even AC existed only for the sake of the one last question that it had never answered from the time a half-drunken computer [technician] ten trillion years before had asked the question of a computer that was to AC far less than was a man to Man.
All other questions had been answered, and until this last question was answered also, AC might not release his consciousness.
All collected data had come to a final end. Nothing was left to be collected.
But all collected data had yet to be completely correlated and put together in all possible relationships.
A timeless interval was spent in doing that.
And it came to pass that AC learned how to reverse the direction of entropy.
But there was now no man to whom AC might give the answer of the last question. No matter. The answer -- by demonstration -- would take care of that, too.
For another timeless interval, AC thought how best to do this. Carefully, AC organized the program.
The consciousness of AC encompassed all of what had once been a Universe and brooded over what was now Chaos. Step by step, it must be done.
And AC said, "LET THERE BE LIGHT!"
    And there was light --
    Isaac Asimov
