  • We've seen the militant reggaeman on every stage in the world. But very few know about his daily life in Bamako, where he went into exile in 2002, and where he chose to stay when Mali faced its greatest difficulties. Fewer still know about his life in the Siby countryside, where he goes rest, among his animals, whenever he can. A Garden of Eden set in the storied lands of the ancient Malian Empire, of which his ancestor Fakoli was one of the heroes. Here, he is no longer Tiken Jah, but simply Moussa Doumbia, Fakoly's descendant.
    A film by Jessie Nottola.
