The great football player (and currently president of the UEFA) Michel PLATINI, along with François Cyril Grange, a child from Savoie, representing future (later he would become an alpine skier), had the honor of light the cauldron at the Theatre des Ceremonies. Uh, I don't think so. The IOC just opened bidding for the 2022 Winter Olympics so as far as I know, there are no plans to switch back to the old schedule.
