It’s amazing, I was in a constant state of 25 years old with more money…….I loved it.❤ because now I’m 42 with a 2 yr old and I am so happy I took the time for myself in my 20-30s. I advanced my career enough that I can live comfortably only working 2 days a week and still have time for my child.
I’m 39, I’m in a hotel with my husband in the middle of the week for no reason. We’re taking a trip to the Philippines, probably gonna move there. We have lots of disposable income and literally do what we want when we want.😅❤
I really do wanna be a parent one day but god damn am I glad to be living in a time when folks are able to be heard on the joys of being child free. My life is for me and I hope I can maintain that when I have kids. I already give so much of myself to the people around me. I owe my mother and her mother and all the people that raised me the same way that I owe my future children. I serve them all, with love, as they serve me. We are indebted to each other by choice. Being a human to me is really all about taking care of each other. What are we without community? Less than monkeys, for sure.
Im 25 with 3 inside cats, a snake, and 3 outside cats. I have 100+ succulents. Before the 3 outside cats i would always be in my garden, its been 2 years since ive had my green thumb. I wish i could travel more but my pets keep me near house bound. I still live with my mom and its bad and good. I dont pay rent but i do a lot and cant afford to fix up the house the way it needs so i just clean it 25/8. Its always a mess tho, pets make a lot of dust and debris. Im just venting to vent rn, this post seemed like i could and ive been on and off fighting with my bf for a month so im just annoyed, i want peace. I have a painful root canal rn and i work for amazon as a delivery driver, sh*t is so hard. I had to deliver 17, 50+ pound canoes with NO dolly last week. My ankles are all bruised. But i need this job to pay off my student loans and now my teeth problems. Oi vey!! Ty for the vent, i hope yall have a good day/night or life or whatever !😅❤
A better question is what that’s like at 50: I was not by choice woman. I always wanted them. But during my 30’s and 40’s I still felt young and never felt sad. Like your video I did what I want when I want and lived great. Now I’m 50, I say 50% of the time I still feel great about not having children. The other half of the time I wish I had them. I cry about the fact I have none, I get depressed, I feel like shit etc etc. as you get older you will not be as happy about the no kids. You realize you only have a few sunsets left and you wonder what it would have been like having adult kids at this age coming to see you and give u a hug and tell u they love you. That’s reality. All these videos about women single and childfree are happier. That’s bullshit. The older u get u want children and family around u
I just wonder if any of the women without kids at age 30 are married. My guess would be no. Men aren't interested in starting families that late in life. We like to be able to chill when we're over the hill.

Why is it depressing? People are able to make their own choices about their life and whether or not they want children. Also just bc I don’t have them now, doesn’t mean I never will.
@CHILDFREEMODERN-WOMAN that's not what I'm saying at all. The fact that someone would rather sleep in till 11 or leave cords on the floor or buy skateboard decks over having a child is beyond me. I'm a father, if I have to get up at any time of night for my daughter I am there without complaint. She comes first before anything else in my life and that is what I believe being an adult is. Being selfless. Don't want kids? Don't have them but it's pointless to brag about not having them.

Many people are 80 with no one even when they have had multiple kids. Kids are not a guarantee to cure loneliness.
