When I started watching your channel it brought back the memories from my childhood watching Titanic 1997. And at the time, when I was younger I literally could resite the entire movie from start to finish and made a cardboard titanic out of HO scale train boxes and toilet paper rolls. I had a huge Titanic flip out page book that I took out of the library every time it was available. And at the time, I never even knew Titanic was only the Second of 3 I found a section in another Titanic book about Olympic and Titanic. But looking at it when I was younger I thought it was about the possibility of the future of Titanic if she hadn't hit the Iceberg.
I've just been thinking, since you covered U-20 in the last video and you will need a new timeline series for a ship, why not one of the big German liners. Since they were competitors to both Cunard and White Star

It's not a documentary, Juan is a person. I'm a Titanic fanatic, not to the extent that you are, but even I know about Juan's history melting video. Think about it.. before the civilization ends and all.

My son likes ships too he's only 10 years old and known this ship he says, " This is the HMS Campania from the Great War.
History Travels, can you do a video on if the titanic would have survived longer if they had moved all the passengers not working to keep the boat afloat to the back of the boat? By some fast calculations I think they could move around 1800 people to the back equaling around 140 tons of weight. This would have moved the center of gravity way back counteracting the sinking in the front which in turn might have stopped the water from overflowing the bulk heads, at least for a time.
A similar move was done on the ss arctic in 1854 to pull some of the damaged section out of the water and slow sinking. It might not have any effect on the titanic, but I cant help wondering if an outside the box solution like this would have helped.

I just got done watching ab the equest of the titanic sinking. based on the court records of the disaster. according to the movie the crews of at least 2 ships didn't take the destress rockets they seen seriously. then in court they were covering up the facts that whether they seen white rockets being shot off. and the ship's captain went to bed. even when he was told of the rockets being fired. the captain didn't think it was the titanic. the next morning all maded a horrible realization that it was the titanic that sank.he lost his command. for which ship I can't remember. he sworn he wasn't told to the court. In amongst his crew they were all blaming the captain for not taking them seriously.

I concur on the Engine Room Crew video, in fact it could be divided in two parts, one about the engines themselves and the other one on the crew behind the generators. Now that I think about it, the emergency sub-system could be an entire video on its own since there is a history behind the requirements for it, and of course the entire technicality on how much power it could generate on its own.

I first heard of the Titantic when A@E in 1994 when there was a two parter called DEATH OF A DREAM and THE LEGEND LIVES ON. At the end it mentioned James Cameron's newmovie in 1997. I have loved TITANTIC ever since. Such a sad story. Glad I have found your channel. Not just TITANTIC but any maritime story. I did The queen Mary and saw the Titantic story and got three replica newspapers of the disaster. I look at them often. So many people must have been so shocked to read about that TITANTIC. Im currently narrowing my selection down to either the Minicraft 1:350 or Academy 1:400 Titanic models. My ultimate goal is to save up and get the 1:200 Titanic model by Trumpeter, though finding a place to put it would be a challenge.
