In the MF Ghost anime final stage, I’d love for this theme to play suddenly, and then a white FC RX-7 pulls up, then a yellow FD, and finally a panda AE86 Trueno. A wealthy looking black-haired middle-aged man steps out of the FC, a second wealthy middle-aged man with blonde hair steps out of the FD, and finally a brunette man in his early-40s steps out of the Trueno. They introduce themselves as Takahashi Ryosuke, Takahashi Keisuke, and Fujiwara Takumi of Project D. The crowd on the mountain pass goes wild. And then suddenly,“Save Me” by Leslie Parrish starts playing. A blue Subaru Impreza 22B pulls up, a man steps out. Greying hair, in his mid to late 60s, smoking a cigarette, he says to Takumi, “you really thought you could start this battle without me, son?” The crowd goes silent. It’s the legend himself, Fujiwara Bunta. Not even the Drift King Tsuchiya Keiichi could beat Bunta. But of course, the main protagonist, Livington Kanata is surprised to see his mentor, Takumi, again. Takumi asks Kanata to battle, and so it begins. Of course Takumi wins, because well, he’s Takumi. And Bunta watches on and smiles, as he sees his son drift beautifully. (And yes this does make sense, because after *SPOILER ALERT* Takumi’s 86 blows up in the final stage, he says he would fix it up slowly.)

99% sure its either one of the Battle soundfiles or one of the Project D soundfiles. Go through them all and hopefully you find it. Not all of the Soundfiles from the series are released though, sadly.

in the manga, takumi scrapped it the AE86 because it's already broken
