Nice review! To anyone teetering on whether or not to buy this keyboard, just pull the trigger and get it, it's amazing! I was skeptical on yellow switches, as I've never used them, but now I think I found my new favorite. I mainly use it for gaming, and my general keyboard for everything else needed.
Do you know if the cable is just used to charge it or can you just leave it plugged in using the cord instead of Bluetooth? Also how can you tell if it’s fully charged if using Bluetooth? (Sorry I have a lot of questions 😅)
You can definitely leave it plugged in and use it wired as well. as for bluetooth and charging, you would plug it in and the light will change color when fully charged..
How was the stabilizers for this keyboard? Are they clonky (not well placed and hearing moving parts)? Were they uneven of perfectly aligned (Space Bar + Shift + Backspace + Enter)? Appreciate your response on this as I am looking for a keyboard that I won't need to mod the stabilizers anymore.
I llle the idea already. Can i use Cherry MX i already have? Do tbe briwn at least back light letters or do need to swap out? I like tjis colour scene for my Noctua build
Hi! Do you know what type of keycap profile this keyboard has? I've been trying to figure it out but can't really place it. I've been looking to replace my keycaps due to regular wear and tear, and they don't sell the keycaps on their own.
These are PBT keycaps but they do not state the exact profile anywhere, that is why I did not mention it in the video.. Sorry I can't be of much help beyond that. I would try shooting an email to protoarc here support@protoarc.com or give em a call +1 866-287-6188
That sound test you did does not give it justice. I have the same board and mine's a lot quieter than what's in your video. It sounds more like a dulled out version of your test. Having said this they're not whisper quiet but it sounds a lot quieter than your test on the video.
I agree, I just got the RoyalAxe R100. I love the sound in person vs. what I've been hearing in other videos. I also tried making a video on my iPhone and the sound doesn't do the board justice as in person, which is a good thing...to me at least. I want to say I hear more of a soft creamy thoc! Only my second board since I'm a newbie. 1st was the Nuphy Air 75. I'm more than happy with the RoyalAxe R100.
Agreed as well definitely sounds better in person. I usually do a sound test on all the boards I review. I am also a heavy handed typer so I may be bottoming out keystrokes as well. Lol
hii! just bought this keyboard and its amazing, just one thing, is there a way to keep on the RGB lights when its not being used? when i am not typing on it the RGB lights turn off after a few seconds and only turn back on once i type on it again, can i fix this?
@@Nimro93 hii, yes and thanks, the app had the option to keep the RGB on however the max amount of time it can stay on without being plugged in is about 1 hour, something so that the battery doesn't break
Nope, xbox is very picky about bluetooth/wireless keyboards. Wired is the way to go on the xbox for the most part, there are some wireless methods but not standard.

Bought this yesterday and this video holding me over while I wait patiently 😁 Thank you
Just took a look at your channel, very calming vibe
@@GalaxyTechReview oh tysm
Was kind of scared bc i bought this keyboard w/o looking at any reviews LOL so im watching some rn and so far I LOVE IT and loved the review as well!
Update: Just got this keyboard and I love it more than I expected to!
That's awesome 👌 👏 👍
is the small backspace button an issue for you?
@@nyla7602 I've not had an issue with it at all!
This color scheme feels like a tribute to Noctua fans. The nob is a very good idea.
I abolutely love this keyboard, but why does my Ctrl+C not copy nor my Ctrl+V not paste
Is there any way to buy keycaps for the mac that have the command and option symbols on the keys instead of their Windows equivalent?
Is this better than the keychron k4? For the same price the keychron has an aluminum chassis as well as 1000mah bigger battery.

I did not see the need to mod this keyboard. It's stabilized pretty well right out if the box.
my FN key always light up. can you help me how to turn it off? we have the same keyboard

you can swap out the switches if you would like.
