All of the big podcasts seem to only interview the keto/carnivore pushing physicians whenever the subject of diet is discussed. They all want to blame carbohydrates, But never seem to notice that fat may be a nutrient which is causing many of the chronic disorders they are seeing. I think the only plant-based Doctor I've seen on a relatively big podcast was Alan Goldhamer on the Rich Roll podcast. All I know is that you are by far the most informative plant-based Doctor I've ever come across. Thank you so much!💜💚💜
Thanks! Yes. the high fat phonies are trying to erase the legacy of the low fat vegan diet = the one that made people healthy: with a moderate to high fat diet that is used to sell omega 3 oil, nuts, seeds, olive oil, canola oil, chocolate, msg, mfg, caffeine, high protein foods, etc
in our world low fat is under 10% of calories (very low fat), even durianrider says 30g per day of fat is too high. The studies used to justify low fat diets in research are 30% of calories from fat, in our world this is a very high fat diet. No one doubts that keto diets or low carb diets lose weight, this is noted, you lose water weight very quickly, and as weight is lost, health is improved. the studies you mentioned are not *low fat, they are moderate and high fat, in the study you mention there was a very low fat group with the best weight loss results, i even reckon this *very low fat group is still higher fat calories than what we practice in the mcdougal / kempner / pritikin / spartan vegan diet / durianrider protocols
@dawseyboy1 Thanks. Peter says that it's high fat causing insulin resistance. The study shows it's not when the body converts fats into ketones for it's main energy source when the carbs are extremely low.
@@ejRecording Whoever has been telling you about those studies is/are either illiterate in statistics or used deception. They did not measure absolute risk, only relative risk. Absolute risk is the actual probability of a event happening, in your studies case, death.
Many thanks for another year of priceless pearls of medical wisdom.
Thanks!

Sludging is real. Still trying to figure out which muppet Dr Rose represents. Count Greger and Fozzy Ornish..... hmmmm
Here's 23 trials comparing a low fat diet...
**23 Studies on Low Carb and Low Fat Diets** (Published on **Healthline**)
- **Low-Carb (including Ketogenic) Diet Group**: Insulin sensitivity improved, fasting blood glucose levels fell by 26 mg/dL, and insulin levels dropped by 27%.
- **Low-Fat Diet Group**: Insulin sensitivity worsened slightly, fasting blood glucose levels fell by only 5 mg/dL, and insulin levels rose slightly.
