I feel like the keychain might be a nod to cabins or somesuch where one might go camping. I do agree that it's still filler but I'm thinking of using it as a zipper pull either on my Creative Case or something similar.
@@markyourpages Precisely! Those are always made out of this type of plastic. I'm not sure if they were actually used for cabins but that's what it makes me think of when it comes to the idea of "camping".
I love love the travel notebook. The cover is gorgeous. The key chain is like the old hotel or cabin key chains from years ago. I like the fine liners they write very smooth. This was a good box.

I agree on the key chan. Great motivator, however I’d like something a bit more metal acrylic for my gym bag or hiking bag. I need something more sturdy. 😊 Everything else is great! Spot on!
This season’s box is a really nice one, but I appreciate how the reveals worked this time - I got enough info to know I could opt out without suffering from FOMO. I just don’t need another water bottle, black fineliner or brush pen.
I was hoping for a brighter summer vibe, but I guess they did that with the monthly kit, wish I had gotten last years summer sub box. I love the funfetti travelers notebook, the fine liners/calliograph and the larger sticker set but I opted out because I wouldn't use the rest of it. The key chain does remind me of cabin or motel keys.

My preference is the need to seperate the writing tools and stickers, they go together, could save on packaging alone by grouping them

Last year was def bright. With this theme the darker forest colors made sense I feel like. And yes, you are right - motel keychain.
I would say the cover of the travel notebook was a kind of speckled linen.
