    TT RS and RS3 are both incredible cars..balance of a great daily with great interiors and amazing performance. Anyone who says other is just missing most of their pre frontal cortex.

      CARS AT 100 sportmile can do a weapon out of RS models. They do 500-600hp TTRS and not even talking sbout their 1000hp RS6 line. They also win unlim500

      Lambo RS6 is not the same as RS7 you would be suprised but they are diffrent. RS6 have split personality comfy chill and angry and agressive when you want it. RS7 is agressive almost all the time, it dosn't want to chill

  • @SgtHail
    @SgtHail 7 лет назад +23

    Aren't you somewhat concerned that buying a TT-RS might make the 360 feel a little slow? If I were in your shoes I'd like something practical, comfortable and efficient as a daily so that each drive in the 360 feels that much more special.

    • @nicholaszivich7589
      @nicholaszivich7589 7 лет назад

      SgtHail thats a very good point. i think it would make the 360 feel like its lacking alittle bit, and it would feel aged inside. it would still be a sense of occasion but, not like how much it should be and it would only be because the badge and the manual transmission. i also think you should get something practical and efficient. it doesnt have to be completely boring just something that wont make the ferrari seem any less in your eyes. like your daily is faster than your supercar.

    • @f0rg0rr
      @f0rg0rr 7 лет назад +6

      KGK Yes you can daily drive an R8 but it’s not bloody labeled as a daily driver, it’s a supercar. Also “it doesn’t need to be slow”, mate the TTRS does 0-60 in 3.8 seconds, what more do you want?

    • @kgk8010
      @kgk8010 7 лет назад

      No i know 3.8 sec is ridiculously fast im just saying a car being the over the X amount hp doesent make it a bad daily. A jaguar f type is a good daily because its comfortable, fast, sounds great and has a big trunk. Even though the R version is 550hp its still a good daily.

    • @T.A.C.S.94
      @T.A.C.S.94 7 лет назад +3

      KGK a daily should be easy to drive, reliable, easy to live with. Tuning an extra 100 bhp out of at 2.5litre engine is going to compromise it’s drive-ability and its reliability. That all

    TT-RS have the looks, but u're looking at a DAILY remember that, and in my eyes the RS3 is much more of a daily since it actually has usable backseats and a propper trunk.

    • @innerhammer
      @innerhammer 7 лет назад

      I agree, RS3 is better for daily but since he doesn't really need back seats(his previous cars, both of them are 2 seater) he doesn't mind to have some second boot space behind the front seats if not appropriate for people to sit.

    Pros:
    - it truly sounds like a baby V10 engine (it is)
    - AWD
    - great car at 7/10ths
    Cons:
    - going 8/10ths and higher the car is lacking, understeers and isn't great but that not what you might care about in a daily anyway. But I know you still tracked the Abarth and this this isn't good on the track. ( did an Audi sponsored track day )

    • @Billeh556
      @Billeh556 7 лет назад +8

      Kommentator you must not be a car person and I won't flame you like is common on internet threads. 7/10th is a description in terms of driving pace. Say 1/10 would be grandma on a Sunday drive and 10/10ths means the (at lease somewhat skilled) driver is driving the fastest he possibly can- 10/10ths usually would be on a racetrack where you can drive that hard. The TT-RS is a fantastic car at an elevated highway speed/canyon run pace but once you start really pushing it, it goes from awesome to just alright. I know Sam likes to track his daily from time to time so he might be disappointed in that area.

    • @komentierer
      @komentierer 7 лет назад +1

      Billeh
      You wrote that wrong... what you were trying to tell me that you rate the car 7/10 (seven out of 10)...
      7/10ths is redundant, what you are saying is that you rate the car 7 out of one tenth.. which would mean you give it a 700% rating??
      I didn't quite understand what you were trying to say, so I just assumed you were talking about some technical term I'm not familiar with

  • @herkaderka9225

    TT-RS is sportier but RS3 is better for a daily. And you can still hoon it when you like to. And obviously they are identical sound-wise. Price-wise, you compare 2016 TT-RS and 2017 RS3, not that different. maybe RS3 is a little cheaper.
    All in all, given 360 is coming to your garage, I would say RS3.

    If you are going for a daily, i think Audi RS3 is best fit for the project. It fits 4 adults, fits bags, good engine (and with few cheap chip tweaks you can pull out even more HP)
    TT fits only 2, narrow space for bags in the back. More exiting but less "daily"

    TT RS. Here in the States they are rare and seriously, stonking fast. My car's favorite lunch? An M4 is quite tasty. A Canadian company is doing beta testing with a Stage 1/flash only tune that is running the quarter in about 10.9 @ 125mph. They are easily 11 second cars from the factory. That is serious business right there....and as you know they can do more than just do the straight line thing. A baby R8 that is astonishingly easy to drive and drive fast.

    TTRS...My comment may be a little biased as I own one, defiantly was my choice for a DD sports car. It has a lot of space in the back for everything you would ever need and can be made ever nuttier with a tune and some exhaust work (2ndary cat delete etc). I have had mine for about six months now and have yet to see another on the street.

    TTRS - because it’s a bit more exclusive than the RS3. There’s a stigma about the TTRS - similar to when the Cayman first came out and people thought it was for those who couldn’t afford a 911. But now there is a market for sporty daily cars. Prefer the cabin of the TTRS to that of the Cayman and RS3. It’s massive fun, looks deadly - but isn’t gonna kill you.

      Haha didn't want to make it sound harsh - but you are looking at a wide range of cars and prices (which is probably a good thing)
      Looking forward to the rest of the videos in this series.
      You might be able to find a Golf Clubsport S starting at £36K if you don't mind the lack of back seats (think this would suit you more than the Golf R).
      I would personally get something with a decent sized boot and 4 seats if it is meant to be a practical daily.
      TT-RS and Cayman would probably get a bit annoying after a while with the lack of room

      I get your point but the TT feels so much more nicer when driven. I tested a s3 and a golf r and the s3 just felt quality compared to the VW.

    Bit of a heads up when it comes to current gen Audis, especially TT's-
    A close friend of mine recently bought a 65 plate TT S-line 2.0 diesel, and it was absolutely riddled with electrical issues, so tyre pressure sensors were going off, didn't ever recognise the key, kept setting off the tracking alarm saying it was stolen! (to name a few of the most popular examples), and on top of all that, their customer service has been completely shocking, not saying they're all like this but just go in cautious if you're looking into one dude!

    If it was between the TT-RS, SQ5 and RS3, then I would pick the TT-RS without hesitation. SQ5 is an SUV converted to speed, RS3 is hatchback converted to speed. The TT is a sportscar from the beginning. It didn't need any major modifications to get fast, it was a blast to begin with. Resale value will probably also be good with the TT-RS.

    I know nothing about Audi's but what I would add is that pretty sure whatever you get Sam, it won't be standard too long so maybe something consider when buying a EDD, also maintenance costs too ;)

    For me the Mercedes C class is above and beyond any Audi. I had an Audi s4 & swapped over to a c43 coupe. The interior is amazing in comparison! Really makes the experience feel special every time. If I could take one thing from the Audi it would be the diamond stitched seats! Really comfy & look amazing.

    Audi RS Q3. EDIT: PERFORMANCE VERSION.. ruclips.net/video/sklOtvGR084/видео.html
    Please try and find one for a Test drive if you like SUV, it has the award winning 5 pot engine with room for tunning revo do a 460bhp stage 2 ECU tune,, might be the perfect 👌 everyday performance car. Looks great to and not many on roads. Super rare for an Audi, only downside dated dashboard.
