      I mean, yeah. First, I'm not saying it's NOT Monster Mash. Also, Rocky Horror was out ten years after the Mash, at least, so Time Warp could be also a nod to it. My point here being: the whole routine reminded me at first of "It's just a jump to the left / And then a step to the right" etc.

    These videos are great! Not being a musical fan, I've missed so many references. The beauty of good parody is that it stands on its own, but is even better if you get all the references. This is such a great show.

    "I hate everything but you" is such a mood.😍 It kind of reminds me of Meat Loaf ("You took the words out of my mouth"). And at some point it's really getting emotional ❤️

    I'd say the part of the gasps in The Cringe is similar to the instrumental/dance break in the opening of The Addams Family musical
    And the beginning of Love's not a game reminded me of Brotherhood of Men (How to succeed...), in which WhiJo was part of the ensamble :)

    "I Hate Everything But You" is kinda a reference to all Bruce Springsteen stuff, but I'd say Thunder Road is probably the closest Boss song to it? So many other references i had no clue about though so these videos are amazing!!

    The actual music in “I Hate Everything But You” always reminded me of “My Junk” from “Spring Awakening” (at least the beginning of it), the writers probably weren’t purposely basing the song off cause they’ve got different vibes but they do sound similar 😳 (edit: AHHHHHHH I was just watching the “my junk” vid, and guess who was one of the people singing in the original cast recording.... SKYLAR ASTIN my mind is so powerful 😌)

    i think 'farewell to mustache' is more like 'i dreamed a dance' from next to normal, but i didn't even correlate the two at first (it's one of my favourites!) but i absolutely love this !!!

    Love's Not a Game also has a very brief reference to Fugue for Tinhorns also from Guys and Dolls. You can hear the horns right after the line "they're our dear friends, they are not horses"

    "Love's not a game" is definitely "Luck be a lady", but the colorful outfits are more in line with the stage productions than the movie (of Guys and Dolls).

      Time to seize the day and the season 1 Theme song do sound similar and at several points in Time to Seize the day, it even sounds like the season 1 Theme song is just gonna start haha.

    I've often wondered if the bike riding Rebecca at the beginning of season 4 opening credits were a reference to Stacy, Wayne's 'psycho ex-girlfriend' from Wayne's World. There's a scene in which she crashes her bike after waving at Wayne.
