Dude. I have played NONE of league of Legends. But their lore goes so fucking hard dude. I love learning about all the characters and I absolutely adored arcane.
Well the hints are: ( ⚠️ WALL OF TEXT! ⚠️) -Vander being referred as "The hound of the underworld" by the people who know about his criminal past. -You can hear Warwick's theme when Vander gets captured by Silco initially, when he says: "We will show them the monster you truly are" -Warwick interactions with Jinx and Vi in game, the one with Jinx being: "YOU WHERE THERE... LET ME FORGET". Maybe referring to the explosion caused by Powder and/or when Silco brought her to Singed so he could "Save her", via Shimmer infusion and operatin on her without anesthesia. Since Vander was chained to the ceiling, he may have remembered those screams being from his beloved Powder and is madly desiring to forget it all. And the one with Vi being: "WHO TAUGHT YOU HOW TO PUNCH!?" Since it's pretty much on the nose during the show, that Vander taught Vi how to Box, so she could defend herself and Powder. -Warwick story being about a "ex ganster" kidnapped by Singed and experimented on. This story will change here and there since ARCANE is deemed 100% canon by riot, so the show origin story is thr accurate, but you can draw the similarities with Vander being Ex ganster as well, and him getting "Kidnapped" By Singed and Silco after he was presumed dead.

It's traumatic. Warwick is purely animalistic in most interactions. He's robbed of his humanity and was denied a peaceful death. It's sad because no one wants to think about Vander having to go through all of that trauma instead of letting him die at peace

And even Soraka(who was Ionian in that times) with all her cosmic healing powers couldnt help. And someday she cursed him(losing her divinity an process) so he transformed into horrible beast. So in 1st lor WW just hated her and wanted to kill. In 2nd lore WW was more of a hunter for some specific humans for scientific research and so on. But when he reached limitations of his human body - he wanted to use some special formula from his friend Singed to become some ultimate hunter. One of the components of the formula was heart of Starchild(Soraka) but he failed to harvest it and he used unfinished formula with horrible result and now he hunts Soraka to finish his transformation after eating her heart. So in both his versions he didnt kill Soraka but wants to.
Btw a big part of league lore i always loved is singed basically being joseph mengele . He performed the most cruel acts on people to produce chenical weapons or cures his main goal is revert his own ageing to keeo tmdoibg this
Warwick even have voice lines when he first meets jinx and say " you were there, let me forget" and another voice lines even when fiddlesticks meets jinx or Swain or Caitlyn and it's really nice how riot try to make it
In the last episode when Jinx starts spiraling one of her scratchy drawing like hallucinations looks alot like a wolf like creature that might be warwick.
The only information missing from warwick pre-arcane is the name of his human form. It was always alluded that something connected him, Vi and Jinx via is voice interactions in the game. Arcane just confirmed it and gave him a more fleshed out human story.
I had a feeling Vander would come back as Warwick as soon as his scene ended. The guy was built up too well to only be there for a few episodes just to die. Something was off.
Warwick, Vi and Jinx are the only characters whose lore aren't fucked up by Arcane becoming canon. It's my favourite show exactly because it tries to respect the source (Riot's short stories) while maintaining a cohesive narrative, but the individual short stories are obviously better for most characters (Viktor, Cait and Ekko mainly) because they're the protagonists and they're not a part of an overarching narrative

Yeaa Noxus with Darius and the best Ionia with Sett. I waited for years for League of legends Series/Film and then came Arcane I hope they make it faster I cant wait to get more. PS : Renekton (The big crocodile) and Nasus (Anubis or doggo) are brothers but disputed.
I would love to see a series covering the lore of the brothers :) Nasus is my main champion and overall favourite next to Riven :D I think Rivens story would be kinda boring compared to Nasus and Renektons as soon Riven leaves the Noxian army. P.S: Its also the story connected to Azir and Xerath. :)
The problem is that Arcane isn't 100% cannon, and yes, WW had his background story changed multiple times. One of them even involved him being cursed into that form by Soraka for killing Urf the Manatee.

you're not wrong but you are thinking of old retconned lore. Singed and WW used to work together until WW was cursed by soraka, which is how he became a werewolf. That lore was completely erased for the new WW lore, which is that he was a zaun crime boss that was experimented on and turned into a weapon.
