Tiene que ver con el intercambio cultural entre el puerto de manila y mexico en los 1500s muchos mexicanos de origen nahuatl migraron y parte de ese vocabulario pasó a constituir en el idioma de ahi, la influencia fue lo suficientemente grande que se trasladó a paises limitrofes o circundantes de la region. Al menos eso sé.
Aunque la mayoría se frases que Cristian enseñó son mexicanas, se entienden en Latinoamérica. Yo no soy mexicana y las entendí, porque las escuchamos ya sea por tv, radio o música.

actually is not, there's a lot of countries where spanish is the official language and some of those countries (like Spain, Mexico, Argentina) attract a lot of tourists so a lot of people is interested in learning the language.
No llevo mucho tiempo de conocer a Cristian Burgos, pero cuando lo conocí, me he enorgullecido mucho que un mexicano este abriendo varias puertas en Corea, la verdad se me hace super divertido además de que no pierde ese sentido de humor tan característico de México a pesar de que se encuentre en otro país. Espero que llegue a ser alguien muy grande, es un chico muy humilde y trabajador, ha luchado mucho por estar ahi.

Both girls are so great with their pronountiation, they should visit Spain someday. more specifically it's slang/dialect from mexico...im fluent in spanish but i didn't completely understand the meaning although i understood the words.
It's pretty normal, spanish has develop into a language with many dialects, actually each country who speaks spanish has it's own dialect, or more like it's own spanish, even between us (the spanish native speakers) can't understand what we say sometimes. Like the previous comments already said, most of the time, spanish speakers speaks with slangs, we are a very close-relation culture, we don't usually speak in formal way, must of the time we use formal only in work related thigns or we don't know someone, but generally that formal speak is not going to last very much before turning into a informal.
James Walker If they know Mexican Slang, yes, but if they don't, they will not get it. That is the gorgeous thing about spanish and also painful. But you know, with basic spanish you can speak to any native ^^
I wouldn't think so... Although someone with understanding of it might. Someone in the comments wrote that they are from Paraguay, so all these phrases are new to them. I imagine it's the same as slang from the US and slang from England in that there's words and phrases that people don't understand about the other country ^^
Being Spanish myself I would say that I dind't understand most of the expressions he used xD There are more common expression that we can actually understand, but not those ones... xD So I wouldn't recommend you to use them, well I don't know about Peruvian people, but not with Spanish ones :)

3.5 years of Spanish and I understood only like half the phrases -_-
more specifically it's slang/dialect from mexico...im fluent in spanish but i didn't completely understand the meaning although i understood the words.
It's pretty normal, spanish has develop into a language with many dialects, actually each country who speaks spanish has it's own dialect, or more like it's own spanish, even between us (the spanish native speakers) can't understand what we say sometimes. Like the previous comments already said, most of the time, spanish speakers speaks with slangs, we are a very close-relation culture, we don't usually speak in formal way, must of the time we use formal only in work related thigns or we don't know someone, but generally that formal speak is not going to last very much before turning into a informal.

I understood cuz he's from the same part of mexico as me. If he had been from somewhere else, the slang would have been very different.
don't worry, I'm a native spanish speaker and I couldn't understand either because those were mexican slang. The video was still fun to watch tho.

James Walker If they know Mexican Slang, yes, but if they don't, they will not get it. That is the gorgeous thing about spanish and also painful. But you know, with basic spanish you can speak to any native ^^
I wouldn't think so... Although someone with understanding of it might. Someone in the comments wrote that they are from Paraguay, so all these phrases are new to them. I imagine it's the same as slang from the US and slang from England in that there's words and phrases that people don't understand about the other country ^^
Being Spanish myself I would say that I dind't understand most of the expressions he used xD There are more common expression that we can actually understand, but not those ones... xD So I wouldn't recommend you to use them, well I don't know about Peruvian people, but not with Spanish ones :)
