Anny, 애니 , アニー I also thought that one needed a little more explanation. If you randomly say mamacita to a girl that might feel like sexual harassment a little. I actually think being formal and saying "eres muy bonita" (you're really pretty) would be a lot better. As Christian said, timing is really important.

Tiene que ver con el intercambio cultural entre el puerto de manila y mexico en los 1500s muchos mexicanos de origen nahuatl migraron y parte de ese vocabulario pasó a constituir en el idioma de ahi, la influencia fue lo suficientemente grande que se trasladó a paises limitrofes o circundantes de la region. Al menos eso sé.

Si, hablamos el mismo idioma, pero obviamente todos los países tienen diferentes jergas/modismos.
StrawberryBlond21 muchas de esas jergas se usan en centro América también.
Aunque la mayoría se frases que Cristian enseñó son mexicanas, se entienden en Latinoamérica. Yo no soy mexicana y las entendí, porque las escuchamos ya sea por tv, radio o música.

No llevo mucho tiempo de conocer a Cristian Burgos, pero cuando lo conocí, me he enorgullecido mucho que un mexicano este abriendo varias puertas en Corea, la verdad se me hace super divertido además de que no pierde ese sentido de humor tan característico de México a pesar de que se encuentre en otro país. Espero que llegue a ser alguien muy grande, es un chico muy humilde y trabajador, ha luchado mucho por estar ahi.

actually is not, there's a lot of countries where spanish is the official language and some of those countries (like Spain, Mexico, Argentina) attract a lot of tourists so a lot of people is interested in learning the language.

It's the first video I watch in this channel, I'm Mexican so I was curious about it, it was hilarious and I even learned about the history of some phrases I've used my whole life hahaha I'm also impressed of the spanish pronunciation of the korean girls, it was great! He's right, those slang expressions are not used here in Spain, but the greetings are totally like that. It was great learning more about Mexico. Both girls are so great with their pronountiation, they should visit Spain someday.

Very funny video 😄 I also learn something in Mexican. It's funny how our Spanish language is different in so many Hispanic countries. In Puerto Rico "me vale" would be like "no me importa." Also I have said since I started talking to Asians that they are very good at Spanish they don't have to try so hard on it like Americans do.

3.5 years of Spanish and I understood only like half the phrases -_-
more specifically it's slang/dialect from mexico...im fluent in spanish but i didn't completely understand the meaning although i understood the words.
It's pretty normal, spanish has develop into a language with many dialects, actually each country who speaks spanish has it's own dialect, or more like it's own spanish, even between us (the spanish native speakers) can't understand what we say sometimes. Like the previous comments already said, most of the time, spanish speakers speaks with slangs, we are a very close-relation culture, we don't usually speak in formal way, must of the time we use formal only in work related thigns or we don't know someone, but generally that formal speak is not going to last very much before turning into a informal.
inft_boy.scouts because there are some mexican slang words I lived in Spain for 10 years and I don't understand mexican slang.
I understood cuz he's from the same part of mexico as me. If he had been from somewhere else, the slang would have been very different.
don't worry, I'm a native spanish speaker and I couldn't understand either because those were mexican slang. The video was still fun to watch tho.

It has some similarities, but it's not very close to Spanish as Portuguese is.
